Hello EveryoneJust had to post this lovely little koala joey being hand reared as his mother was killed by a car. This little 'cutie' was found in the road thankfully. He could easily have been killed too!!. I hope you all agree he's got a lovely cute face.

I hope you've all been enjoying the warmer weather and are keeping as well as possible.

TAKE CARE

MistyXx

P.s, have had the great news that i've been put on the appt waiting list to see mr biliary surgeon!!. I've got my Pain Consultant to thank for it and i realise how lucky i am to have her treating me. It could be a wait till June for an appt but its a big relief as still in a lot of pain.

I'm still waiting for Podiatry appt and i'm trying to reduce Pred back to 5mg daily from 6mg. How 1mg can make a difference?!!. So far ok 🀞

Thank you all for your wonderful support and prayers. I really do appreciate it. Xx

Just adorable πŸ₯° He is one lucky Koala to have survived.

I am pleased to hear that you have been put on the list for the biliary surgeon. Hopefully you will hear from podiatry soon too. 🀞🏻 🐨

Thank you GE for your lovely reply. So glad you liked him. Yes, he's a very lucky kaola to have been picked up. Thank goodness there are still wildlife sanctuaries to care for them. It can't be easy to keep going can it?. Quite aturnaround to suddenly be back on his appt waiting list when a few weeks ago he'd refused me!!.

Could do with Podiatry help as foot is painful!.

How are you ge?. Are you waiting for any appt's now?. I do hope you've had more Spring signs in Scotland and take care. XxπŸ¨πŸ’•πŸ¨πŸ€žπŸ¨πŸ’•πŸ¨

Not waiting for any appointments at the moment. Had my knee scanned and was told there is nothing wrong with it! Don’t understand that at all. It turns in by 90Β°, is painful and keeps giving way. Have been told though that my knees are normal!

Finally saw my GP about the bursitis in my elbow on Friday. Gave me a steroid injection in the elbow joint! Should start to improve within 2-3 days. If the pain persists I’ve to get back in touch with her.

Daffodils are in bloom up here and there are a lot of birds gathering twigs etc. for nest building. Also seen a few bees. Certainly signs that spring is approaching.

Keep well and I hope you hear from podiatry soon. Xx πŸͺ»πŸŒΉπŸ

Your knee doesn't sound normal at all as its in that state ge. I don't understand either how a scan could miss it!. I'm glad you've had a steroid injection into your elbow. 🀞it helps with the pain. I wonder what your gp makes of the knee result?. It must limit how much exercise you can do!.

I love this time of year, hearing and seeing birds collecting stuff for their nests.

Take care and i hope your elbow is better soon. XxπŸ¨πŸ’•πŸ¨πŸ€žπŸ¨πŸ’•πŸ¨πŸ€ž

Hello again ge, i've suddenly thought that another way to get help with your knee is a physio!. If your gp surgery has them you may be able to self refer like we can here in U.K!!. They can be really helpful. Just a thought!. Xx πŸ’•

Hi Misty, Just when I think you couldn't find an even cuter cutie, you have. So glad he was was rescued. I hope he gets a lt of cuddles. He has the sweetest little face. Glad to hear you are getting on the schedule for the bilinary surgeon and so glad your pain consultant is a very caring doctor. Hopefully you will hear from podiatry soon as well. Aww, the waiting game is so difficult. I am seeing a different immunologist tomorrow that my neurologist set up. Not really sure what to expect. Haven't gotten the results back from the small fiber nerve biopsies yet. I knew it would take at least 3 weeks so I should hear soon. My regular doctor has been on leave as his 9 year old daughter has a brain tumor. He is such a nice person and I hope she will be all right.

Take good care of yourself! June will be here before we know it.

Lots of healing hugs coming your way.

Thank you Pumpkin for your lovely message and so glad you loved the kaola. Yes, its getting harder to find better and better 'cuties' but i shall keep it going as much as i can!!. Good luck tomorrow seeing the different immunologist. Its always an ordeal seeing somebody new who we don't know and having to say our history all over again. Its very wearing but 🀞he will be kind and very helpful for you. Do let me know how you get on as i'll be thinking of you dear friend.

Hope you get your small fibre neuropathy results soon. Maybe its good news. Waiting is so hard specially when in most need!. I hope i hear from Podiatry soon as foot is very painful!.

Sending lots of healing thoughtwaves to you, for tomorrow specislly. Take care. XxπŸ€žπŸ’•πŸ€žπŸ¨πŸ€žπŸ’•πŸ€žπŸ€πŸ’•πŸ€žπŸ’•πŸ™πŸ’•πŸ€žπŸ’•

How did it go Pumpkin with your new immunologist?. Helpful i hope. XxπŸ¨πŸ’•πŸ¨

Hi Misty, Thanks for asking. She listened and was familiar with everything going on. She had me get a blood test for my low immoglobuns and is going to have me do a genetic teset for hereditary alpha trypasemia which has to do with mast cells. They will send me a kit and then I send it in. If it comes back positive, it could answer a lot of questions as well as help my family members in case any of them have the gene. My one grandson has some issues like hypermobility, leg pain, etc. and it could give us some answers for him. I don't know why the immunologist i was seeing didn't do any of this. I know it may not be the answer, but I can't help but hope it is. I still haven't heard about the small fiber nerve biopsies, but know they take a while.

I hope you are hanging in there. You aresuch an amazing and caring person. You deserve all the best.

Lots and lots of healing hugs.

I'm so glad Pumpkin that you had a good, thorough appt!. Its great and important she's looking at genetics and your immunoglobulins. It must be worrying seeing your grandson suffer and wondering why. 🀞you get some answers soon. Seems so bad that your previous immunologist didn't do it!!. Your lovely mesdage really made my day when i'd read it. You've been such a support of 'cutie pics' right from the start dearest Pumpkin which i really do appreciate as i love doiing it and making a tiny difference to someone's day.

I'm keeping 🀞for your small fibre test results. I really do hope its good news as you have so much to cope with yourself. I hope you have a Happy Mother's day . How is Benlysta going?. Do hope its helping.

Sending big healing hugs to you. Xx

P.s, still waiting for Podiatry and hanging in there. Xx

Another delightful Cutie Misty. What a special little character the wee Koala looks and so wonderful he was rescued!

Delighted you have finally a place on the gastro surgeon’s waiting list thanks to your pain consultant! The foot has to be dealt with too , now so fingers crossed podiatry will get in touch soon!

Thanks again for cheering us up and hoping this lovely spring weather we are having up here is with you too!!

Thank you dear cutty for your lovely message. So glad you liked the kaola. They have lovely, gentle faces don't they?. I'm so pleased too that your finally getting progress but its a shame you have to wait till May to discuss with Endo your Dexamethasone dose. Do they have specialist Endo nurses that you could contact as its still a while to your appt?.

I'm reducing the steroids at the mo by 1mg and am so lucky that our Endo Dept does have them. I've been in touch previously and they were so helpful!.

I'm so relieved to be waiting to see mr surgeon, just hoping i do before my birthday!!. 🀞to hear from Podiatry as foot very painful. 🦢

Thank you for your wonderful messages and i will be in touch very soon. We had a lovely, warm Spring day yesteeday. Not quite so good today. So glad your getting similar weather, much nicer to look at isn't it?.

Thinking of you so much cutty, TAKE CARE, XxπŸ¨πŸ’•πŸ¨πŸ™πŸ¨πŸ’•πŸ¨πŸ€žπŸ¨πŸ’•πŸ¨

I’m so glad you have the much needed appointment in June (won’t be that long away!) The very best of luck with your appointment, although, luck shouldn’t come into it! Everything 🀞for you 🀞Stay strong πŸ₯° This comes with huge gentle hugs β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️

Thank you jopo for your lovely message and so glad you liked the kaola!!. Wonderful that you've seen them with your son. You must miss him a lot as he's so far away. It can't be easy getting to see him either!. I would have been the same, wanting to bring them home, they've got such cute faces!!. I really do appreciate your kind words regarding my appt's. I'm hoping to hear from Podiatry soon as they could help my foot. Its sad wishing summer away to get to my gastro appt. It does go by quickly and suddenly half the year has gone.

Do hope your as well as possible. XxπŸ’•πŸ€žπŸ¨πŸ’•
