Hello everyoneJust popping in to show you these 'cutie pups' who were all found abandoned in a crate on the A249 would you believe?.
They have all been taken on by the prison service as sniffer dogs so will be working hard soon. Huge thanks to the person who found them as this story has a happy ending when many don't.

P.s. ive got an update thanks to my gastro consultant. My ct scan luckily was all clear for abdo, pancreas, cancer and hip bones. I'm a very lucky lass and proof that long term steroids when managed properly , may be fine despite our worries!. He's referred me to an Upper GI Surgeon who specialises in biliary problems for further tests. I feel relieved and scared as you might imagine!. The pain came back on friday after a lovely month's break.
My foot injection is still going strong. 🤞.
Thank you for all your support and i just want to add that , if you have a query about a symptom, treatment or diagnosis keep asking the consultants. It could just get you a much needed referral or change of treatment. It has for me over the years. Xx

hi Misty what a gorgeous litter of puppies, how someone could of dumped these is beyond me - fantastic as the prison service have taken them in. I’m so glad that your CT scan results were all ok. I’m just getting over Covid at the moment, it’s left me with a nasty cough but my furry girls have been wonderful nurses. Xx

Thanx svfarmer for your lovely mesdage. I so agree about abandoning animals but its happening a lot more now as people struggle to afford them!!. Someone left two bunnies near where i live, near a footpath and stream!!!. A neighbour went to rescue them and they werent there so hope that they hadnt drowned!!. If only people would do it more responsibly as there are ways!!.

Great news that your GI scan was clear. Not so good that the pain has returned. Hopefully the surgeon you have now been referred to will have some answers. Wonderful that your foot injection is still working too.
I have to go for a chest x-ray a week on Monday. My breathing is still not right after having Covid at the end of July / beginning of August. Asthma nurse has given me an extra inhaler and also increased the strength of the one I have. She thinks that I have long Covid as one of the Respiratory consultants at the local hospital has said this is common. It is likely to last 6+ months 😞 Xx 🐶 🐕
Thanx ge for your lovely message and good wishes. Trouble is a lot of animals are being dumped because owners can't afford them anymore. I just wish they would do it responsibly by taking them to a vets or animal shelter. Lovely that these pups had a happy ending.
I'm so sorry ge that your still suffering from having covid in the summer. Its a nasty bug attacking the respiratory system !. Good luck for your chest xray, hope it will lead to better treatment. I do hope you've not got long covid, you certainly don't need another 6 months of this.

I know people are struggling but you can do it responsibly by taking them to shelters or vets!. Somebody dumped two rabbits near where i live on a footpath near a stream. A neighbour tried to rescue them but when she got there they'd gone. Just hope they had a good samaritan who took them!. I loved the pups faces and they'll do so well in the Prison Service i feel!!.
I had planned to listen to your chat today but we had to call out British Gas for our boiler so been a funny day. They're back tomorrow to fit the new parts. Always something isnt there?.

I have to say I’m glad I got that wrong and your toe pain is still gone, I’m sorry I misread that but sad to hear the biliary pain is back, I wish you could get a break from that, thank goodness you’re now getting an upper GI referral, I hope it’s not too long to wait.

Aren’t they gorgeous Misty? How lucky they are to have been taken in by the prison service and will have such interesting and fulfilling lives. 👍🏻 I don’t understand how anybody can dump/abandon another creature - they must be callous psychopathic people. It is horrible. My dog Murray we rescued from a Police Kennels who kept abandoned dogs for a week before putting them to sleep. The Vet thought he was only 5 weeks old. Although we’d been looking for a grown up dog we couldn’t bear the thought of this wee puppy being put to sleep for no good reason other than nobody wanted him. He grew to be the size of a border collie and appeared to have a lot of that breed in him.
I’m so pleased your ct scan showed there was nothing sinister going on and it is good to know you are being referred to an upper GI surgeon. 👏🏻 I hope he is able to help you after all this time Misty and put an end to the dreadful pain you’ve been enduring. 🙏🏻

Hello dear spotty, thank you for your lovely mesdages and good wishes. I'm very sorry that your arm pain is coming back. These injections are tough with such different results. That is really hard to live with so i hope this KORE treatment might help that too. Its good the pain is easing from your hip and back. Its almost like making it travel round and then maybe it will go completely. 🤞Thank you for the beautiful pic of Murray. How can you let a wee puppy like him be put to sleep. ?Its heartbreaking isnt it ,so wonderful that you gave him a lovely home.

We live near a footpath and a stream as we're on an estate and speaking to a neighbour recently we found out someone had abandoned two rabbits nearby!!. The neighbour came back to rescue them but they'd disappeared so we just hope someone got to them first!!. It will make us be more vigilant when we go for a walk!!.
I think i'm headed for gallbladder op just like you and more liver tests as the surgeon has outlined in his letter what he wants to do. He's named other conditions as possibilities. I will mesdage you soon as there's a bit more to the story that i couldnt post!!.

Yes the steroid injection lasted a good while but is sadly wearing off now although my GP did say he could give me another. But I’d prefer the cause of it was discovered rather than just treat the symptom. I’ll definitely be mentioning it again to my KORE therapist.
Murray was such a joy and very easy to train. He made our lives complete along with our 3 cats when we lived on the islands. He loved all cats but wasn’t so keen on other dogs! 🤷🏼♀️
I’m sorry to hear about the rabbits. I hope they survive. 🙏🏻 We saw a beautiful golden bunny with the wild ones for over a year coming to the field next to us. He’d obviously been an escapee or abandoned but he seemed happy with the wild ones who fortunately, and unusually I believe, had accepted him/her into their warren. 🥰
If you do have to have the gallbladder op I hope it is as successful as mine was in that it put an end to the excruciating pain.🙏🏻 At least it is done by keyhole now so not a major op anymore.👍🏻👍🏻 I look forward to hearing more from you when you have time Misty. How wonderful that these gorgeous babies were found. There is a special place in hell for people who do this sort of thing. There are so many rescues who will take them 🤬
I am delighted that your scans were fine and that your consultant has referred you on. It shows he listened to your concerns and symptoms and is willing to continue to investigate. So many of us, myself included, have had our concerns and symptoms invalidated and dismissed so thank goodness you have a good consultant. Thank you weathervane for your lovely mesdage. It is interesting how many different services like the Prisons, Police, Customs all use dogs so it is a good avenue to send puppies too. Such a waste!. Sadly abandonment will happen more and more as owners can't afford their pets anymore but it can be done responsibly by taking them to shelters or vets. Ive had a lovely months break from the pain and now its back again. Why it does this i just don't know. Im ringing tomorrow to see how long the wait is!!. 🤞its not too long.
