Hello everyoneJust had to show you this young hedgehog who has an injured back leg. He was taken in by Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in Buckinghamshire and will make a full recovery. They treated nearly 2,000 hedgehogs last year. Thank goodness there are these places but they must all be struggling with the costs.

I hope your all as well as can be and coping with this dreary weather.

MistyX

P.s, still got a lot of pain and waiting for my appt's.

I have managed to get back to 5mg steroids by reducing slowly from 10mg so feel pleased.

Thank you weathervane for your lovely mesdage. Oh yes, i think he's smiling from relief at getting to Tiggywinkles!. Not all do!. We hope ours are safely tucked up hibernating as its suddenly gone colder here!. How about you?. Have you had your important appt's yet?.

Its very tough with all this pain but with every week that goes by i feel i'm getting nearer to an appt!.

Hope you have a good week. Xx🦔💕🦔

We had a cold frosty morning with lovely blue skies today . We have lots of birds at the birds feeder, I don’t know if our little hedgehog will be back 🙁.

I had my appointment on Friday, it went ok , they took blood to check inflammation levels as ive had increased joint and muscle pain, if levels are ok he is taking me off Anastrozole and putting me on a different drug until 5years are up . If levels are up then rheumatology will take over. Not sure if I want to change as another drug could be worse, will find out on Monday 🤷‍♀️

Still have my fingers crossed for you , if you even had the date it would be easier!

Take care and feel better 😘 ❤️🤗🤗🦔🦔xxxx

Thanks weathervane for your lovely mesdage. If you put a bowl of water out in your garden you might see a prickly visitor!. Good luck today for getting your results. I hope it works out the way you'd like. 🤞

Your so right about having a date, its something to hang onto!. Take care. Xx💕🦔💕🤞💕🦔💕🤞💕

Thanks for your message misty. I spoke to rheumy nurse again today, bloods were ok so i have to get back to oncology as might change the drug im on . Bit anxious about this as could have more problems or it might be fine !

I will leave out a wee bowl of water and see what happens 🦔.

Take care 😘🤗🤗🦔❤️🦔

Aww what a poor little thing but how lucky to have got help for his broken leg, he does look very cute and lovely he’s being well cared for🥰.

Thanks for your message, I will be in touch soon but would you believe I’ve gone down with another virus or it’s the same one re emerged, it’s only three weeks since the last one and I thought I was at the tail end of it, I’m so fed up with it all and this horrible damp windy miserable weather doesn’t help does it? Colder and dryer next week I think so maybe some brightness will cheer us up a bit.

I’m so sorry you’re having a miserable time with all these pains😞 let’s hope the leg injections help next month, it’s not nice having to up the pain relief but well done for getting the steroids down 👍 … it’s always like two steps forward one step back for us isn’t it or more like one step forward two steps back 😫🤔

Chat soon lovely

Take care

Thanx for your lovely message dianne, so sorry that your having such a miserable time. It may be the same virus repeating as they can return. I shouldn't think you've been out this weather to catch it again ?!!. Good luck for tuesday, will think of you and keep my 🤞for a good outcome.

Its so easy to be on higher and higher doses of morphine which i don't want to do. I wish the lovely painfree fortnight i had at christmas could have lasted longer!. Oh well, at least with every week that goes by i feel i'm nearer to an appt!.

Only let me know when you feel like it lovely. TAKE CARE, Xx🍀🤞💕🦔🍀🙏

No I haven’t been anywhere Helen to catch anything but all the little ones were here on Monday but they’ve not been poorly. It’s a horrid virus, I want it gone!

I’ll be cancelling my appointment for Tuesday, there’s no way I’ll be able to make it especially as it’s a 40 min drive and the appointment is 11am, not a great time for me normally let alone with this, I don’t think they’d appreciate me constantly coughing and blowing my nose 😫 I’ll rebook it, it’s not feeling urgent at the moment 🤞.

It’s so weird isn’t it how our bodies can behave a bit better then cause us so much grief, it doesn’t make sense does it, I’m glad you had some respite over Xmas but I why can’t it be for longer, I often find there seems to be no rhyme or reason which is frustrating.

Take care lovely will catch up in the week

BiG hugs 🤗 🥰🦔💐💕xxxx

So sorry dianne you've got to change tuesday's appt. Now, we can't cough or sneeze in public without getting funny looks!. Our bodies definitely do wierd things which is why it doesnt pay sometimes to rush in about symptoms as it can catch us out.

No rush to reply lovely, only when you feel up to it. Big hugs.Xx💐💕🤞🌺💕

He is just adorable 🥰 So good there are places like Tiggywinkles to care for these small creatures if they get sick or injured. Very rarely see hedgehogs in my area but then it is a city.

It is good that you have managed to reduce your steroids. I”m sorry to hear that you are in pain though. Hopefully your appointments will arrive soon. I’m still waiting for an appointment at respiratory. My breathing is not at all good and the cold and wind is making it worse 😔 Fingers crossed all appointments arrive soon. Xx 🦔 🏥

Thanks ge for your lovely message. I'm glad you liked the little hedgehog. A lot of animals are braving cities now for food so you never know what you might see!. I'm so sorry your still waiting for respiratory appt. Its shocking its taking so long and your worsening.

Keeping 🤞for us both hearing soon. TAKE CARE. Xx🦔💕🦔🤞🦔💕🦔🍀
