Hello EveryoneJust popping up to tell you that this baby prickly cutie was rescued in Turkey by firemen as it had become trapped down a well!!. One of the firemen said 'every life is valuable to us'. Isn't that so heartwarming?. I think so and i hope you agree.

Its the time of year when hedgehogs go into hibernation so if you see any out in the day then it may be in trouble. If you can put some water out and some tinned cat or dog food over the winter then hopefully that will help them survive. They're still on the endangered list.

Hope your all keeping as well as possible and will enjoy our extra hour's sleep tonight.

MistyXx

P.s Good news from my gastro consultant that i don't have a liver condition. Big relief and he agreed to me taking iron pills for my anaemia and i do feel better for them.

I've managed to get an Orthapod appt in Dec to discuss my foot as i've still got pain and nerve symptoms after op. Be good to have their advice.

Endo consultant wants me to try reducing the steroids to 5mg and if that's ok to go to 4mg and have another test. Apparently, the safer doses for daily steroids has changed from 5mg to 3-4mg!!. That was a big surprise!.

Thank you for your wonderful support.Xx

Lovely little hedgehog. They have the most beautiful faces.

Great news about your liver lovely. I am so pleased for you. I sincerely hope that you can get some help with your foot. I am so sorry that you are still suffering with it xxx

Thank you Cecily for your lovely reply. Yes, i so agree about hedgehog faces being so cute. I'm really disappointed with my foot and tried reducing painkillers and just couldn't manage with the pain!. I really do need their advice as its been partially successful but don't understand what's going on!. Very relieved at my liver, but also need to know what's causing muscle pain and weakness. Symptoms can overlap with so many conditions can't they?.

How have you been getting on and i hope your enjoying Strictly?. XxπŸ¦”πŸ’•πŸ¦”πŸ€žπŸ¦”πŸ’•

I am sorry Misty. Pain is difficult to live with when it is constant. I hope they can help you.

Yes I am so loving strictly this year. My favourites are Sarah and Jamie. So sad about Amy . I hope she will recover well bless her.

I feel I am in purgatory to be honest. My leg pain is excruitiating with no one accepting responsibility to investigate, although my GP is trying and they are unsure whether my bowel issues are blockage or motility. Meanwhile constant pain and sleep deprivation. I could moan for Britain xxx

misty14β€’ in reply toCecilyParsley

Sorry for late reply cecily and for all your tough problems too. I do hope they find out what your bowel issues are soon so they csn be treated. Pain and not sleeping are miserable to cope with specially when we don't get breaks from suffering, we go from one problem to another!. Thank goodness you have a gp who eants to hrlp. Thst is worth so much.

I like jamie and sarah too and isn't the blind chsp amazing as well?. Strictly does so much good, i don't want anyone to spoil it!.

TAKE CARE and i hope your feeling better soon. XxπŸ¦”πŸ’•πŸ¦”πŸ€žπŸ¦”πŸ’•πŸ¦”πŸ€ž

It is great news that you don’t have a liver condition. Hopefully the iron will sort out your anaemia. A three month course sorted me. Have to get my bloods checked again in a couple of months to check it hasn’t returned now the tablets have been stopped.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend. πŸ¦” πŸ’Š

Thanx ge for your lovely reply and glad you liked the baby hedgehog. How have you been?. Better i hope and hope your anemia blood results are good after stopping the tablets. Mine will be monitored 3 monthly as i take Mtx. I do feel a lot better for taking it.

I had a real treat yesterday, a lovely carvery lunch with a good catch up with schoolfriends!. Hadn't seen them in 6 months!!.

Hope you still see your niece and you have a good week. XxπŸ¦”πŸ’•πŸ¦”πŸ€žπŸ¦”πŸ’•πŸ¦”πŸ™πŸ¦”

hi Misty πŸ€—πŸ’•

How adorable. Really is a cutie. Bless that fireman for saving it. Thanks for its Winter survival tips.

Sorry about your foot post op pain. Still keeping you/everyone in my thoughts and prayers.

Glad your anemia is being addressed.

Hope you’re successful at titrating your prednisone. The more meds we’re on long term the harder our kidneys work to cleanse the system.

Things not great here. My 95 yo blind dad started failing 2weeks ago blacked out twice. Solid week he was adamant leave him alone to die. Finally after a week of this we called ambulance to rush him to ER. In critical condition brain bleed broken neck total renal failure = sepsis T-1 anomaly black and blue all over malnutrition critically dehydrated. After much combativeness finally got hard neck collar on to stabilize neck fracture. Brain bleed stopped = no brain damage. Had stents surgically placed for helping kidneys to hopefully produce urine again. This surgery discovered massive right sided cancerous bladder tumor needing removal later time. He’s been slipping in and out of being lucid.

I injured my frayed tendon and ligaments in my ankle visiting him. Too much stress due to the great distance having to walk to consult doctors about his status.

Yesterday his kidney values declined = new infection from increasing dehydration. Back on IV fluids. Needs soft diet to promote nutrition needs.

Sorry for long reply. My absence is unavoidable; today I needed a break and your cutie post was a wonderful down time treat. β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️β™₯️

Oh honeybug, i'm so very sorry at what your having to cope with, with your failing father!!. 95 is such a great age but i'm just sorry that its become such an awfully stressful time and how it can all change so suddenly!!. Thank you for your lovely wishes, i do so appreciate them and i just wanted to say i'm thinking of you and your both in my prsyers too.

Sorry about your tendon/ligament problems, can so relate. Sometimes a break is easier to heal than these so 🀞for healing for that!. Must be very painful too.

TAKE CARE, lovely and i'm thinking of you. XxπŸ™πŸ’•πŸ€πŸ€žπŸ¦‹πŸ’πŸ€žπŸ’•

Hi Misty , the baby hedgehog is adorable , amazing that the firemen rescued him πŸ₯°

Its good to hear that things seem to be looking up for you in some departments , I hope you can get some relief for your foot as well .

I am on second antibiotic for a chest infection, with an added uti so on strong dose . I’m not sure if it’s working for my chest as coughing is awful. I have 2 days left so if no change I have to go back , it’s very wearing πŸ˜•

You take care 🀞🀞for steroid reduction and ortho appointment, xxxx πŸ¦” πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’–πŸ€—

Thanx weathervane for your lovely reply and glad you liked the little hedgehog. So sorry your poorly with a bad chest infection and UTI. That must be so miserable to be poorly with both. I'm sorry the coughing isn't improving and if you can't sleep its no wonder your finding it all so wearing. Good luck for going back to the gp and i hope you get some better treatment.

Hope your enjoying Strictly. Isn't the blind chap amazing?. Thank you for your lovely wishes, can't wait to see Orthapods in Dec as need foot advice badly. Its a partial success but really disappointing. Hope you feel better soon. XxπŸ¦”πŸ’•πŸ¦”πŸ€žπŸ¦”πŸ’•πŸ¦”πŸ™

Hi Misty , I’m not cough as much today so hopefully chest clearing 🀞.

I have missed 2 strictlys so i decided just to watch the results show last night to catch up . They were all wonderful, the dancing, costumes and makeup, best Halloween yet. I don’t have a favourite yet as I love them all the guy who blind is amazing, I really don’t know how he manages , he must have a brilliant teacher!!

Good luck with the ortho appointment, hopefully the time will fly , look after yourself xxxxπŸ¦”πŸ₯°πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ€—❀️

Sorry weathervane for my late reply. Thank you for your lovely wishes, yes , not long till orthapod appt!. I had my 2nd shingles jab this week and been feeling very poorly with lots of side effects!. Glad i've got full protection now. Lovely to read you've turned the corner with your chest infection. Hope that has continued.

Sometimes we just watch the results show, specially at the begining when there are a lot of contestants. Its a high performing year again and the wardrobe dept has excelled itself. Chris is just amazing being blind!. So inspiring!. He's favourite to win. I hope we enjoy the new Icons week on sat!. Sounds good!.

Enjoy and i hope next week is a better one for you. XxπŸ¦”πŸ’•πŸ¦”πŸ’ƒπŸ¦”πŸ’•πŸ¦”πŸ’ƒπŸ’πŸ’•πŸ’

Hi Misty , so for delay replying, I’m now on third antibiotic as chest infection wasn’t clearing. I think this one is working 🀞🀞!

Hope you are keeping ok without too many side effects from your vaccines , can’t have mine until this cleared up.

I’m still enjoying strictly, surprised at some of the results though. There is an awful lot of silly stuff online about the show. , every little thing being analysed and stories made up. Refusing to read it now as its annoying.

I really don’t know who is going to win and I don’t really have a favourite as they’re all good.

Take care and keep well xxxxπŸ€—β€οΈπŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ₯°

Thank you weathervane, for your lovely message. Sorry that your chest infection has lingered a long time but glad it seems 3rd antibiotic is working . Will keep 🀞it continues for you. I've had a very busy week sorting out lots of admin for my parents and i'm exhausted!!. B&Q refund and parcel return amongst others.!!. mum suddenly got de-registered at our dentist without warning as she'd not been for 3 years!!. She's written a sharp letter as thats so unfair.

I'm improving slowly from the shingles jab, just in time to have covid one on 20/11!!. My new foot nerve is hurting a lot so that's very tiring and demoralising really so can't wait for my Orthapod appt.

I agree with you about Strictly but there are a couple now i'd like to see go, not a good one that happened last week. Its an interesting contest for the later stages as so many good ones!!. Very Sad that Amy collapsed and isn't coming back to the show. She did well i guess to get to the halfway mark as she's been thru so much!!.

Looking forward to tonight anyway, take care and i hope you continue to improve. XxπŸ’ƒπŸ’•πŸ’ƒπŸ€žπŸ’ƒπŸ’•πŸ’ƒπŸ€žπŸ’•

Oh dear , you don’t need the stress of all that admin when you’re not feeling well , I’m useless when I’m feeling poorly my head just doesn’t work.

I still have a cough but it is much better, just hope it clears so can get the flu and covid jab.

Another great strictly at the weekend, I think Sarah and the JLS fella are my favourites at the minute, though could change again. Chris is amazing but I’m not sure if he’ll win , the blackout moment in his routine coming into the lift was brilliant.

Take care , feel better soon ❀️πŸ₯°πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ˜„πŸ€—

misty14β€’ in reply toweathervane

Hope your cough is clearing weathervane better so you'll be able to get those jabs. They do bring peace of mind for us don't they?. My brain doesn't work well either when i'm poorly or in pain.I'm having my covid jab next week with Mum as we wanted ours separately unlike Dad. Will be my last jab of 4 for different things this year , a record!!.

Have had a very positive week , whereby my hard work has paid off. Dad got his B&Q refund and Mum's been re-registered at her favourite dentist!. Then we've had a lovely day today, celebrating her very special birthday.

I just hope weathervane nobody else gets voted off who is a serious contender again on this week's Strictly!. I agree, Sarah and Vito are one of my favs. I agreed with Anton when he said there should be a special award for Chris and Diane, how they're spreading awareness like the other disability partnerships hsve. I don't think chris will last the pace but they're such worthy winners.

Enjoy Blackpool, its always such a wonderful show. Take Care. XxπŸ’ƒπŸ’•πŸ’ƒπŸ€ž
