Hello everyone

Just had to show you these cute labrador puppies born in Sussex to a very clever mum. They are special because its the first time a mix of colours , yellow, chocolate and black , have been born in one litter.

Mum must have been exhausted carrying them all!. Hope you like them and they give you a 😀, this wet november weekend!!.

MistyX

P.s, foot pain is gradually returning after a blissful fortnight. Im still awaiting blood test results and ive just had my third jab. Feeling achey and tired but relieved its done. Xx

like a box of assorted chocolates. wonder if that means they had different fathers somehow. sorry your foot pain is back.

I read somewhere that a lot of breeding went into making the three colors possible in one litter.

Thanx suzannah for replying. Your spot on because its taken a 15 year special breeding program for this assortment to be born. May see more now as its been so successful. Xx🐶❤🐶

Thankyou Misty for the cute pic - my what a huge litter, just look at their cute little noses, When Bea had 3 puppies that was enough hard work as she had such a small litter she had loads of milk so she kept sitting on them and not realising so we had to take it in turn day and night to make sure she didn’t squash them - but it was so worth it to have our little minx Mira . I’m sorry to hear your foot pain is returning , I’m so hoping it dosnt get any worse for you 🤗💕

Thank you svfarmer for your lovely message and good wishes. Oh my goodness mum of this lovely brood has such a lot of work to do. Exhausting for her so im hoping the owners are watching out for her like you had to do. What a joy that you had bea and could keep her puppy mira. So lovely. They're the perfect twosome!.

How's the knitting going?. Well i hope. Im hoping my foot stays at this lower level of pain as i don't want to go back to high doses of painkillers. Just couldnt think straight!!. The injection luckily can be repeated so just got to see how i go. 🤞

Take care this week and keep safe. Xx🐶❤🐶🤞🐶❤🐶🤞🐶❤🐶🤞🐶❤🐶

The knitting is going great although for 2 days this week my hands were so painful I had to stop 😫 so frustrating - I have knit a reindeer and a polar bear jumper for Bea & Mira and also am knitting more jumpers for the Facebook schnuazer group as it’s now Christmas jumper auction 😂😂😂 I love it though and so does Bea&Mira as they love to both lay on my lap whilst I’m knitting. The auction we just did raised £6000 to help the puppy farm survivors so I was super pleased with that - have a good week Misty 🤗💞

Adorable 🥰 Certainly is a big litter!

I’m sorry to hear your foot pain is returning. Really hope they find a way to control it. You must feel relieved though that you have had your third jab. Was it Pfizer you got? I got that for my first two and got a very achy arm and was tired. Only lasted around 24hrs so hopefully you won’t feel too bad for long. Xx 🐕 🐶 🐩

misty14 profile image
misty14 in reply toGloomyEeyore

Thank you ge for your lovely mesdage and good wishes. Mum certainly has a lot on her plate looking after all those little 'cuties'.

All my jabs have been pfizer and so im pleased your effects didnt last long. Gives me heart thanx ge. Im relieved to have had it as our area is having a lot of covid cases at the mo. Im relieved to only have sore arm, aches and tiredness and hope it stays like that. My body probably recognises it better now!.

How about yours after cop26?.

Foot is disappointing as id hoped for longer relief but you just never know with these injections!. I can have it again so we'll see what the podiatrist says. I hope it stays at this level of pain as i want to take as few painkillers as possible as i like hsving a brain!!. Haha!.

Keep safe and well ge and take care. Xx🐶❤🐶

GloomyEeyore profile image
GloomyEeyore in reply tomisty14

The rates of Covid in my area are fairly low at the moment. They have been dropping across Scotland. Glasgow has quite a low rate too which is good after Cop26. Nicola Sturgeons making mask wearing compulsory on public transport and in public indoor settings must be doing some good. Yes we all complain about wearing a mask but it is a small price to pay. There is a chance that some restrictions could be brought in next week to try and keep levels low over Christmas. A vaccine passport is already needed for some events and there is talk that one will be needed for coffee shops, restaurants, gyms etc. I have evidence that I am double vaccinated but can’t get a vaccine passport. This is because I don’t have a driving license or passport.

Hope that your level of pain stays low. I too prefer not to take medication but at the moment I have no choice. Xx 💐

misty14 profile image
misty14 in reply toGloomyEeyore

Boris johnson, still isnt introducing those tougher measures unlike nicola Sturgeon. Im so pleased its working and keeping your figures low. I have admired how she's handled this crisis unlike Boris. He takes too long to make a decision. Im sorry vaccine passports are going to be difficult for you, ge!. Did you try learning to drive or have you been too ill?.

Ive discovered ive lost my driving skills because of having to stop for 2 years. Im going to have to have a refresher when i get my foot sorted out. We have to cope with so much don't we but somehow we get there, juggling it all.

Have a safe, happy week. Xx🐶❤🐶

GloomyEeyore profile image
GloomyEeyore in reply tomisty14

I first became ill at 17 and just never bothered learning to drive. Think it may be worth getting a provisional license though, just for ID purposes. So many things these days require photo ID. It would also be proof of age. I’m in my 40s but could still pass for 16 😞 Wish I looked a bit older!

Hope you have a good week. Xx 🚗

misty14 profile image
misty14 in reply toGloomyEeyore

I think ge thats a really good idea. It would make providing proof of age that much easier as i have same problem of looking much younger!!. Should be a blessing not a curse though for us!. Xx

misty14 in reply toSpotty-ewe

Thanx so much spotty for your lovely message and good wishes. I so agree id find choosing a puppy so hard but i bet like kittens one would come forward to us and we'd be smitten.

Im relieved ive come thru the covid jab better than i thought i would. Hopefully the aches and tiredness will soon go along with the sore arm. Im pleased to be better protected too!!.

It wasnt easy at the leisure centre as there was a big, zig,zag queue to negotiate and then i was called to the furthest jab station. Sod's law at work so i was glad i took my walking stick seat!!. Good though to see so many people getting their jabs!.

Thank you for your lovely thoughts re my foot. Im hoping the pain/ nerve irritation stays at this level , specially as im staying home more this winter. The podiatrist will be phoning near xmas so i might be able to have another injection in the new year. Just got to take each day really and i can up the pills again but dont really want to. I had hoped for longer relief but heighho!!.

Tomorrow i speak to my gp about rheumy appt and he might be able to see if my cortisol bloods were done. Would be nice to know so ill be in touch in the week.

Seeing Strictly later. 😀

Do hope you both have a happy, safe , drier week. Xx🐶❤🐶🤞🐶❤🐶🤞

Spotty-ewe profile image
Spotty-ewe in reply tomisty14

I’m glad the Covid jab wasn’t as bad as you feared. 👍🏻👍🏻 I found the 3rd one much better with fewer side effects than the first 2 even though it was still the Pfizer. And yes, in 2 weeks time you’ll be best protected. 👍🏻👍🏻 That’s another reason we are going to Keswick next weekend which will be 4 weeks after our 3rd jab.

I really hope and pray you’ll be able to get another injection for your foot in the New Year. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Good luck tomorrow with your GP Misty.🤞 I’ll be thinking of you.

Before then, enjoy Strictly! 💃🕺🏻 🤗xxxx

misty14 profile image
misty14 in reply toSpotty-ewe

Thanx for your great message spotty. I spoke too soon about the jab and last night suddenly felt really poorly.Illness just wants to flare!. Just got to go slowly to get better before i have the flu jab.

Thanx for thinking of me this afternoon. I had a good chat with my gp and he's confirmed my cortisol and liver bloods were done successfully and the results are with the Rheumy secretary!. Me thinks maybe a letter is coming so there's something to tell me. They wouldnt otherwise if all was normal would they?. Its good i know it was done ok!. Watching for post now!.

Strictly was wonderful wasn't it?. . How Dan had improved and it was all so close. Sad harry and amy went on such an emotive dance but lovely they'd had the chance to dance it.

Have a lovely week with more sun 🌞 i hope. We're colder and brighter at the mo. Keep safe and well ready for Keswick!!. Lovely to go before xmas. Xx🐶❤🐶🤞❤🐶❤🤞❤🐶❤🤞

Spotty-ewe profile image
Spotty-ewe in reply tomisty14

Oh that’s a shame Misty that the jab had a delayed effect on you. ☹️ It did that with me first time round but luckily the side effects were short lived. I hope that proves to be the case for you too. 🙏🏻

How odd your GP didn’t give you the results of the tests. Yes, it does sound like there is something to tell you but it doesn’t need to be doom and gloom. Keep positive Misty and I hope the news isn’t bad.🙏🏻 Would it be worth phoning the Rheumy secretary and asking if you should be expecting a letter or whether you can get the results over the phone? I’ll be keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you that it is better than you fear.🤞🤞

Yes, Strictly was great. I agree Dan has really improved although I don’t know that he’s one of the best dancers, but considering he’s never danced before I think he’s doing so well. Yes, very sad for Harry to have to go after his special and emotive dance. 😢

Thanks for your kind wishes Misty. I’m looking forward to the break even if not to the preparation for it. 🤣🤣

Take care. 🤗😘xx

Your so right spotty, it doesnt have to be bad news and to get further help for my symptoms can only be good. Its just a lot to process if ive got another AI illness. Specially with Addison's. I will see how long it takes for letter to appear and could chase later on.

I don't feel well enough at the mo but hope to be better soon.

I shall think of you doing all the packing and sorting. Is it for the weekend?. Take care. Xx🐶❤🐶

It is a lot to process Misty, and an understandable worry.

We leave at the weekend but it is for a week so a nice long break. 😁

Thats wonderful weathervane that your son has had wildlife encounters. We rescued a baby hedgehog out in our garden and he'd nearly been runover in our cul de sac!!. All adds to life doesnt it?.

Good luck with your oncology review, hope they're pleased with you. Its alwaus a worry these appt's. Ill think of you.

I hope ill have my cortisol blood results this week. Bit crucial about the steroids!. Its hard waiting and wondering about results isnt it?.

Must admit its been a lovely painfree fortnight with foot and really wanted it to last longer. Hopefully it will stay at this lower pain level but i csn have another injection. Podiatrist will phone end dec!.

Keeping 🤞for us both this week. All the very best. Xx🐶❤🐶🤞🙏🐶❤🐶👍❤

Misty, Another special pic! Nothing says cute like a puppy, but 10!!! can't even be put into a word. Really sorry about your foot. Mine is a little better - still swollen and the redness, but not as bad. Feels really weird though. I have really made an effort to staying off of it. May be that has helped. I know it isn't anything like yours and I hope your pain doesn't get any worse. I will finally see the podiatrist tomorrow, but wish he would have seen it from the beginning. I will take my pictures. At this point, I just would like to know what set it off. I realize that it had happened about a year ago, but was not as bad. On the other hand, I really don't expect answers. Losing faith in the medical community overall as far as anyone really wanting to figure something out. Thank you so much for sending smiles to us all.

Healing and hopeful hugs.

I do hope your podiatry appt went well today and he offers a diagnosis and possible treatment. The one i see has been very good at joining it all up. I think you need it for your care too. I can have another injection for mine thank goodness, probably new year now.

Thank you so much cecily for replying. Glad you liked the pups. Ive had my biggest response for them so that says it all really. Did you sort out your leak and go to the hairdressing appt?. I do hope so.

Foot is disappointing but not surprising really. Its good the injection worked at all. I think i can have 3-4 in a year so maybe next one will be in new year now. Podiatrist is ringing near xmas.

Wasn't Strictly a close nailbiter? Sad for Tom and Amy as Dan had improved greatly. Its going to be close from now on really!.

Have a safe, healthy week as possible cecily. Xx🐶❤🐶🤞❤🐶❤🤞❤🐶❤

CecilyParsley profile image

I always love puppies Misty. The leak has been sorted but sadly the toilet has been leaking under the floor so the whole bathroom needs ripping up, new floor, new joists. Nightmare. It is going to cost over £6,000 to put right and the Insurance do not want to know. On the plus side I am getting a walk in shower that will hopefully reduce the number of falls. Despite no front tooth and a black eye I got to go to the fabulous salon in Bristol and I had intended to get a subtle colour but when I saw the copper I was in love so that is what I had and about a foot off the length. It has really given me a boost. I am getting a temporary crown fitted on Friday so I will be able to smile again. Who is voting for Dan?? It makes me mad when gifted dancers are evicted . I thought Tom and Amy’s dance was emotional and touching. I disagreed with the judges. Rhys is a fabulous dancer but I thought the choreography was too frantic. I disliked Tilly’s dance and were I to judge she and Dan would have been in the dance off. John and JoJo doing the Argentine Tango this week ❤️❤️❤️ Xxx

misty14 profile image
misty14 in reply toCecilyParsley

Good for you cecily to really go for that change of colour and style. No wonder its given you such a boost. So sorry at your awful home news but do hope it can be sorted out soon. A walk in shower will really help you.

I couldnt agree more with you cecily about Strictly results. It makes me cross too about Dan and i do wonder who is voting for him?. I think he's regarded as the fun one so he's being kept in. He'll have to go soon surely?.

Good luck with the dentist on fri and i hope you'll be transformed. Its awful losing your front tooth as i know only too well.

Keep safe, healthy ready for fri. Xx🐶❤🐶🤞❤🐶❤🙏🐶❤🐶🙏🐶❤

CecilyParsley profile image
CecilyParsley in reply tomisty14

I have to say the locum dentist has a real attitude problem. She accused me of making an emergency appointment under “ false pretences”. This is not an emergency you are just trying to jump the queue 🤯. I pointed out I was due to have a replacement crown in July 2020 but then Lockdown happened. She said it’s no emergency there is nothing I can do. Thankfully the dental nurse was far more accommodating. The dentist was raving about having APG??😳 It was like a surreal event. The dental nurse informed me it was a special kind of PPE to avoid droplet contamination and thankfully they have some as I cannot have my impressions taken until the new year. The dentist could not let it be and said well it will look awful and be difficult to get off. I said I will take my chances. I asked if I could get the other front one done too as it was gaping. She said that’s not gaping it’s your gums receding because you are old. I burst out laughing, it was just so rude. She said it’s a perfectly viable crown so you are not getting that done on the NHS. If you want it pay £778 privately. I told her thank you for you time if not for your manners. Honestly. The poor dental nurse said I am so sorry. I said it’s not your fault Miss Congeniality cannot be civil. We had a giggle and later three other people told me how rude she was to them. Happy days eh? 😬 xxx

misty14 profile image
misty14 in reply toCecilyParsley

Thats just awful cecily. She shouldnt be practising with that attitude!. Good for you for standing up to her. Nice to know you werent alone as 3 others thought her so rude!. I pity the nurse having to put up with her too. Special good luck for fri. Hope her mood has improved by then. Xx🤞❤

CecilyParsley profile image
CecilyParsley in reply tomisty14

Honestly she is so abysmally rude. If I wasn’t desperate I would not go back to her. In the new year I will not want her to do my treatment. Apparently my dentist and one other just walked out so they are very short staffed. Xxx
