Another rash pic

Please guys does this look like a lupus rash , it's predominantly on my neck and chin but not across my nose or cheeks . It comes up and down throughout the day changing from red and fading to pink ! Does a lupus rash come and go like this ? It's driving me nuts !

Hi, have you seen you seen your GP or Dermatologist about this rash as it could be anything? If you haven't it may be a good idea to see a GP and if you have photo's like this one shop them as it's normally sod's law that if/when you do get through to them the rash will disappear only to pop up again as soon as you've left the surgery. In fact take photo's of any other rashes and a simple diary of when they appear, how long they last and what they feel like i.e., itchy, burning and so on. Also include any other symptoms no matter how trivial or unconnected they may seem to you as they can be clue's to a doctor especially if you can't link them to anything.Sorry I can't be any more help than that as I'm not a doctor. Good luck with finding out so you can get it sorted.

Thank you so much, yes I sent him a bunch of pics about 2weeks ago and he hasn't even come back to me ! It's hot and irritable ( like me ) ! I will try and get someone at my surgery to call me but tbh I've given up hope with them ! Thx for reply !

It could be urticaria. When GP doesn't come back, you have to keep chasing...annoying, I know. Have you t tried aloe vera gel? It soothes the burning and itchiness. You might also try a cloth soaked in oatmeal water which is also calming. You can get an organic aloe vera on line easily. Hope you feel better.

Hi sevenstar, looks like it to me I get similar rash and I have been diagnosed with cutaneous lupus.

Morning Sevenstar1, I am sorry to see you are experiencing a bad rash. As a recently diagnosed Lupus patient I can advise I do not hardly get any rash on my face which confused the doctors. I do get it on my thighs and a burning sensation too due myositis. I hope you feel better soon. Take care.
