Lupus rash?? : Hi, I'd like to know if anyone gets... - LUPUS UK
Lupus rash??
hi bronn , i think you can get it on the torso , mostly though mine is more active on my arms, ears and on my scalp, try to avoid the sun but enjoy the summer also, to much of a good thing I suppose , perspiration could be a problem
Thank you turkeyboy67, I don't think it's from perspiration I've been getting it for about 2 years. I'm seeing my rheumy tomorrow I'll get her to have a look and decide. Going on mycophenolate from tomorrow maybe that'll help.
I've bought cotton scarves, head visors and got factor 50+ suncream from my gp, but I still don't think I'll be out of doors much. The sun makes feel so il 🙁 but hope to enjoy some time in my courtyard under parasol 🤞🏻This disease robs one of so much, my 18 month old grandson doesn't understand why nani cannot play with him, makes me so sad 😟 Hope you manage to enjoy the weather a little too.
that's so sad hun, try to be positive and remember everyone is here for you 😉
does your body get extremely hot as if you had a a very high fever, then a week or so later you notice rash? I hve this problem, before it did not itch, now it does a bit, I also got it this time under my abdomen, what helps me is cool wet small towels placed in area till it feels better. I am in the process of finding out if I do or not have lupus, the p.a. said I did then doctor said no, I did not. in meantime I am forever tired badly, no appetite, also face gets pitch red if I exert myself, my nose always has atinge of red on top, cheeks stay red almost always, hope you feel better soon.
Hello, I get a bright salmon colored rash across my abdomen following a high fever and extreme fatigue. Flu like symptoms and general body aches accompany these symptoms as well. Every crisis starts like this but it goes away faster than I can get into the doctor. I have tried to take pictures but it doesn't photograph well and the doctors are baffled. The plaquenil seems to make the time in between these events longer but they still occur.
Sorry you are suffering eduardita, the way you describe your nose and cheeks sounds as if it may be the lupus malar rash. I'm not getting a fever, it does itch a little but I itch all over my body at times it just doesnt seem to stop. Hope you get some result of what is your problem, and get some relief soon. Take care
