Does this consider lupus rash??

Hi crimsonedith ,

Unfortunately because we are not medically trained we could not say whether this rash is caused by lupus or not. Have you shown this to your doctor? Are you currently being investigated for lupus?

Hi Paul , I've had lupus for almost 12 years but I haven't really got rashes on my face before that's why I couldn't tell ... my appt is in mid Jan that's why I'm a bit worried ... I'm currently on pred n cellcept

It looks similar to my rash but I have had it all the time since getting lupus 15 years , goes worse during a flare and looks worse if taking higher dose steroids and my face swells .

Sigh... this disease is driving me crazy ... just when you think everything's fine, something will just pop up and drive you nuts...

Hi! Just from that photo I don't think it looks like a classic malar rash but I'm not an expert by any means! I still think it's worth showing your Dr though just to be sure ☺️

I'll just have to wait till my appt to mid jan cause i went to the emergency but they can't really help me with anything ... till then i'll just have to keep my fingers crossed..

Have you changed meds recently or have you always been on what you are taking now ? Have you googled lupus rash or malar rash , Google images should bring up different photos .

Yeah ... dr reduce my cellcept from 500mg to 250mg since early nov ...

I've checked but couldn't anything similar ... 😭😭😭

Is it just on your face and is it on both sides ? I just looked some of those pictures are really bad I'm glad mine isn't so bad , mine is just on one cheek , just a slight bit on the other .
