I got out in the boat and done a little fishing. I didn't catch many, and didn't keep any fish, but, I did have some alone relaxing time. I wasn't barefoot in the garden this time. I was barefoot fishing. I know I will pay for being in the sun but, I will not let Lupus stop me from living and stop me from doing the things I enjoy in LIFE!
Because of Lupus I have to go barefoot but, guess what? I don't let that stop me from going wherever, or doing whatever I want to do! I know what the meaning of barefoot life is, from first hand experience.
Today will be a tough day, I have massage Thearpy this morning. Yes, I'm being funny. The massages feel very good.
I hope all of you have a GOOD DAY!

Oh Tiras, what's the fish? I am so glad you keep doing what you enjoy, it really does help to try to be normal whatever that is. I had steroid injection 6 weeks ago and was able to walk the dog at lunchtime and do some digging in the garden, (don't tell my specialist that) I prefer to get stuck in, love my wheelbarrow rather than planting, always have done.
On oral steroids from today as Hydroxy not enough and he is thinking about Methotrexate if things don't improve which I was hoping to avoid. But at least it will allow me to enjoy some of my favourite hobbies, yes I may suffer the next day as I am today but heyho I enjoyed myself and achieved something that I haven't been able to in a long time.
I take methotrexate, I take 3 pills 1 day a week, I do it on Sunday's. sometimes it makes me feel awful, but most of the time not much at all. Just tired that day more then anything. It has made me weak a few times and wabbly when standing and or walking.
Oh the fish is a Bass, that is a game fish here in the U.S. I just bought a new Bass Boat to go fishing in. I'll have to post a photo of the boat soon.
Wow a new boat, yes pic please. Thanks for your experience with the drug, the wobble bit is worrying as I have unsteadiness quite a bit and worry when driving. Just won't drive if it has that effect. I am lucky I can still drive but not too far because of the Tendonitis in my right hip (the worst) It's something I will need to consider before I agree.
I have called the fish Fred, as don't eat fish so hope he doesn't get eaten anytime soon.
