Does anyone else suffer with this? Is it another symptom to Fibro? Head, belly, arms, legs, hands and feet???

Pins & Needles
Hello Jo, thank you for your message. I am sure many of us, including myself, can relate to having pins and needles, tingling, crawling feelings within various parts of our bodies. Our senses and nerves can be heightened through having Fibromyalgia and as a result we tend to feel sensations we otherwise wouldn't normally. Hope that makes sense.
Here's are two discussions we had recently on pins and needles so you can see others' viewpoints and experiences too -

We have to be careful about tingling and pins and needles' sensations so to be on the safe side and to make sure nothing else is causing this, it would be advisable to speak to your GP who can advise you on this.
If you click on the link below from our main site at FibroAction there is lots of useful information about symptoms of Fibromyalgia which may be of interest to you -

I hope you get some relief for this soon Jo, please let us know how you get on.

Libs
I get it on and off but as Libs says I checked it out with my GP, he has said he'll keep an eye on it and told me to mention it when I get to see a Rheumatologist and also to let my GP know if it changes or gets worse.
My Doc has reffered me to a Neurologist...so we will see!!!
Thanks everyone!
Jo
Hi horsemadjo
i suffer this problem and was refered for MRI back in 2011 and my answer was down to having cervical spinal cord root compression and disc indentation,as this i suffer in both sides. Was then refered to Neurologist.
This is part of parcel for some of us if not most.
Medication is given to help as i was given Amitryptiline, then changed to Neurontin (gabapentin) and now Lyrica (pre-gabalin) which has been a life saver in my opinion along with pain medication. It will all depend on symptoms given for the Dr to give you medication to help.
There are many conditions that can be similar so things have to be ruled out to make decisions and give the correct medications.
Although i have to say was told not all symptoms were due to the neck .
everyone is different and is always best to be checked out and see Dr. They will do what is necessary, as some see Rheumotologists and physiotheropists which i have been through these chanels.
Hope you get something to help ease the tingling feelings. Never leave new symptoms you are unsure about you should always seek help no matter or how small just to get the rite answers from a Dr.
wishing you some relief soon and keep focused each day , relax where you need to relax and do what your body tells you to.
huggles
