Pins and needles ,burning feet .
OmG ive struggled with the burning feet n legs for over one year now its at its worst i get pins n needles through rest of my body too bt worst is the painful burning sensation
Hi, yes I'm like this all the time. I've had it in my feet 24/7 for a year and a half and now it's all over! My feet are in so much pain tonight that I can hardly walk. I was put on Gabapentin 3 months ago but they are not working. Will be phoning my doctors tomorrow to see if I can see Neurology as this can't be right all the time? Have you spoken to a doctor about your symptoms and have you been given any Meds for it?

O yes think i have had them all. But have had side affects off a lot so had to come off them .Went to see a neurologist it was part of the fibromyalgia like everything .But in the mean time it's getting worst .
Had a call back from my doctor today, can't get face to face appointments any more! She has now tripled my Gabapentin dosage, but has agreed to refer me to Neurology. I asked her about Pregabalin but she said that she has been told not to prescribe it as they are cutting down on prescriptions! She is a new doctor and the only one who is of any help at my surgery so I suppose she has to go along with their rules. My feet are just as bad today, feels like someone is trying to saw my toes off while stabbing me from underneath!, what with the neuropathy all over too!
I hope you find some relief very soon.
All the best!

My feet are always hot . I often have pins and needles in my arms even if they are straight . It's not pleasant and wakes me up at night .
Hi fibro10
I really am so genuinely sorry to read this, and I was wondering if you have had it checked out? The reason I ask is that I have the same issues but mine is not Fibro related it is nerve damage. *NHS Choices say:
*Peripheral neuropathy develops when nerves in the body's extremities – such as the hands, feet and arms – are damaged. The symptoms depend on which nerves are affected.
In the UK, it's estimated that almost 1 in 10 people aged 55 or over are affected by some degree of peripheral neuropathy.
I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Yes me too - I get the burning in the feet at night. I also get pain that radiates from my little toes inwards that is so bad that I can't put any weight on my foot/feet.
I honestly don't know what the answer is to relieving this - I usually just try to relax and try distraction techniques (reading, listening to the radio etc) until the pain goes.
Yes to hot burning feet and Achilles pain...Pins n needles in arms n hands. Right side frequently worse....Some things work time of the time....
Empathise but no solutions
I just keep trying different lotions/potions but not tablets as dontwork for me
Good luck

Pins and needles are classic symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency. Burning feet can also be down to B12Def. too. Most important not to supplement any B12 until after B12 blood tests are done as it will skewer results.
Ive had pins and needles in my left hand which sometimes reaches my elbow, for the last 2 months. I saw a GP but as I also have upper back pain he didn't seem interested in the pins and needles and said nothing about this. He just said that I have pulled a muscle in my back due to walking with crutches (but I think its costochondritis). I hate going to GP I always come out feeling like I wasted their time.
