pins and needles.: anyone feel there... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
pins and needles.
Yes Mandypandy - definitely. This was my first symptom many years ago. I had surgery for carpal tunnel but it obviously wasn't that as the pins and needles remained. Still get it on and off. All very inconvenient particularly when I keep dropping things because I can't feel them. May be worth checking with the GP to make sure it's not related to anything else. I have neck problem which the chiropractor helps me with and I do notice less symptoms after a treatment so probably not always 100% fibro to blame.
I do too, struggle to lift a cup of coffee to my mouth. X
I can't hoover but if I do my arms feel like dead weights and I am in agony .,,, and certain times I get puns and needles in my hands and feet ... and my ankles swell up often ...., xx
Yes frequently. Had mri a few years ago and everything clear so it's put down to fibro xxx
Hi, I have swollen hands in the morning by mid day there fine. I have the feeling of pins and needles constantly in my hands and feet. My legs feel like there made of cement at times. Dr. says it's probably oa making my hands swell in the morning but fibro for the other. Nite🌜 Chris x
Yes I get this too, also itchy hands and fingers. Itchyness not relieved by sratching. But do have impinged nerve in my neck at C5 been told could be this.
Hi mandypandy!
One of the first symptoms I developed was pins and needles in my hands and fingers. Also get swollen fingers. Usually occurs first thing in the morning. I also get the heaviness in my feet, feels like I have lead weights in the soles of my feet, also get numbness and pins and needles in my feet. Xxx
I used to suffer with carpal tunnel syndrome years ago when I worked in an office for 20 years. it stopped when I went into another job which was in a factory. my arms and legs always feel heavy. reaching is a struggle, holding a toothbrush, picking the kettle up, holding phone to my ear, stroking my cat makes my arms ache and so heavy, I have to put my arms down. legs are so heavy when walking up stairs, a slight incline. my back kills and can't do long walks anymore which I love walking. my life has had to completely change. it's a very debilitating illness. xx
Hi Mandy, oh yes I wake up with it, can't comb my hair properly as the pains in my arms are horrendous, I know how you feel hope you feel better soon
Thank you. the lead weight feeling in arms and legs is awful. I find I drag myself around. xx
I have not been diagnosed long and have the pins and needles nearly everywhere but this morning I have it in my eyes, is this normal
I haven't had that before. I don't know.
