Adjourned DLA tribunal lost my file

Well I'm gutted. They lost my file!

Adjourned until further notice, I was so upset couldn't stop crying. The judge then said she wants a doctor to visit me at home and do a medical on me. So after 10 months still no decision. All comments very welcome

Hi Sandra thanks for comment, I was so distraught earlier but now come to realise there is nothing I can do. Sit and wait some more.

Have a good evening - Lucy

These people are beyond incompetent! Do you have photocopies of the form you sent them and the supporting evidence?

Goodness, I know they are incompetent, but that takes the biscuit!

However, Im not prone to predictions about folk I dont know, but I do feel that this incident will go in your favour. I rarely think positively about DLA given my own experiences, but hey Lucy theve goofed up here and its embarassing for them.

I am keeping my toes crossed for you.

Theres no hope for me as welfare said I have a case against my GP but not a point of law against the tribunal. Im not about to waste money on sueing a GP, so its game over for me :( Ill wait until pips comes in and im re evaluated along with everyone else.

Kind thoughts

NN :)

Hi Nordic,

Thanks for your message. I truly hope you're right in saying it should go in my favour but after speaking to my local Nhs access team on the phone today asking for another grab bar at the top of my stairs which was offered to me earlier on this year but I didn't feel I needed it then, was only told I have to go back on the waiting list to be accessed which takes about 4 weeks, after all she said to me it's the tax payers money! We are making a formal complaint, not only am I a tax payer but her manner and rudeness to be working for people who need empathy and kindness not rudeness. Now regarding your GP I had trouble with mine a few years ago also saying that each time I asked for a medical certificate I was using tax payers money like his. I made a formal complaint and funnily enough he no longer works there!

Complain it's the only way. Have a good weekend and nice chatting.
