dla appeal hearing decision adjourned

I had my tribunal hearing on monday and was told they would post the decision out to me. Bt i haven't recieved the letter so I rfang them today and it has been posted and apparently it has been adjorned. What does this mean?

Hi lash this could be a good thing, don't want to build your hopes up but if my hearing hadn't been adjourned i would not have been awarded my mobility component, I had to see one of their medical practitioner to see me at home and it was her report that proved how ill i am and won me the appeal. it may be worth it to phone them again and ask if you could be seen by one at your home or if this was thier requirement on posponment and as kraftyk8 says about more info its your oportunity to see if you can gather more evidence yourself and send it into them, good luck , hugs poppy xx

Thaks guys for the support I am receiving. When I spoke to them today, the woman couldn't tell me why it had been adjourned, but hopefully i will get the letter tomorrow. If not she said ring on Monday and she will resend it.xx

Do not know if it helps but was reading a page about fibro and benefits and it says that you can ask to be assessed by a specialist in fibro, as it can be misdiagnosed and misunderstood, so hope evreything goes ok

i was turned down for dla i appealed but was turned down dont think they understand how much pain im in the form was difficult has i kept getting brain fog dont know if i can reapply

Hi there. I've recently been told by a specialist that I have fm. Try a company called mobility Wessex to help you fill the form out. They are fantastic and they charge £20 but worth it. Hope this helps xxx

Hi, lash I’m in the same position my tribunal hearing was adjourned yesterday. My rep had travelled from derby. So upsetting I was so drained out 😩needed all day today to recover.. the whole process is scary and horrible I waited 9 months what a disappointment.. I suffer with lupus, I was awarded in 2015 then re-applied last year this time 0 pints.. when nothing’s changed same meds..head up we have to keep fighting..🤗
