So sorry

To my Fibro family,

I would just like to say how sorry I am For using the 'Poop emoji and the word 🤬

I didn't realise how much "Out of order" These were to people?

I was taught to use the word 🤬 instead of 🤬 when I was young and taught my children the same,

I didn't realise that a emoji of a lump of 🤬instead of 🤬

would be the same,

I apologise to all I have offended or made to feel uncomfortable in any way,

Especially to my big Sis Smilesalot

Please forgive me and my potty mouth?

Take care Debs x

I don’t recall seeing anything??

I use that emoji, it just saves swearing, no need for an apology from me, but I suppose each to their own opinion.

Hi, yes I'm afraid l am not a big fan of posts been littered with loads of emojis. The 💩 one is my least favourite of all .

Never understood why people post loads of emojis when would do the trick . I have noticed you do tend to litter your post with 💩 emojis. To be honest for me personally when I see a post with too many on I will just move on to the next post.

Also going back to a discussion we have had on here a few times in the past. People with sight or blindness problems are unable to understand the posts. Their machines are unable to decipher emojis and there meaning for them I believe.

No offense intended just giving an honest personal opinion xx

No worries, I prefer honest speaking too. It doesn't mean we have to agree with anothers opion. But at least you know where you stand xx

Hi Debsdelight,I would not worry about it. You did not use really bad language or anything. Most people have far more important things to worry about.

Sometimes we're so fed up with things we just have to let it all out! Oops! No pun intended! Personally I wasn't offended - heard much worse from a teenager on her way home from school the other day, so much so I told her off! Every other word was interspaces with "f..." Must be getting old! 😂

I really do not like commenting on moderators actions on the public forum but there was an interaction between the team and  Debsdelight3108 and this was communicated with her. It was not just the poop emoji which was added as a secondary issue. These emojis have been reported previously but we have not acted.

It was also highlighted that we are tough on swearing but these emojis are littered all through a post and the intent is the same. There are people under 16 on here but our position on swearing is mainly due to our past issues with trolls more than anything else.

I will not go into the main reason that we had to take action but this was explained to the OP and the reasoning behind it. They can reply to that message which we would have preferred rather than having to explain things on here.

When this type of response goes up it causes people to take sides, check past user history (multiple accounts) and make their own conclusions without the take of what the admin team see in reported posts or what they have since removed. This is why we have a rule about discussing moderation actions.

Anyway I am going to turn off comments to this post and the OP can come back to me on the PM that was sent if there are any other questions.

p.s. Just to add that the items being moderated were not in our minds severe but they still required some action.
