Vitamin D

When I saw my new rheumatologist who diagnosed my fibromyalgia he suggested it might be worth having my Vitamin D levels tested at some stage. So I got round to it last week, then saw my GP who said I had a serious deficiency of vitamin D. I am taking a massive daily dose and waiting to see what happens.

Very interesting. That's one of the things I HAVEN'T been tested for lately. I was taking a vit B supplement and apparantly, I was saturated in Vit B12 when the blood results came back, and had to lower my doses, and my foliate was over too! So at least the fatigue isn't due to pernicious anaemia!! I'll have a look at the vit D thing though. Thanx.
