Fibromyalgia and Magnesium

Was diagnosed with fibro following a car accident last year ,realise it was always there ,but not active Have been Ill ,since then ,until I read about magnesium ,which I have taken off and on for the last 5 years Decided to give it a go in tablet form, have always used the spray .Within 2 hours of taking it my knee pain had gone ,had only had half the tablet cos I thought they were strong.took the other half at lunch and my ankle pain eased up

I do take a probiotic as I have low b12 and find this keeps my stomach calm.Have regularly taken B12 sublinguals daily which in the past have usually sorted my bad knees but this hasn’t happened on this occasion will continue with the magnesium ,when the pain comes back Always take D3 as well. Anyone else found this works for them and it definitely worth a try if you haven’t they were brand igennus which is a complex form ,really good brand use other vitamins in their range.Good luck

Must admit I'm a tad wary of anyone saying their pain disappeared within 2 hours of taking any medication, sorry to say. In general, about magnesium sprays, there's no scientific evidence as yet to suggest they work, & re: magnesium in general, the jury seems to be out saying, 'Some intervention studies in the literature suggest a benefit from magnesium use in fibromyalgia. Yet this beneficial role is not certain as none of these trials was a blinded randomized placebo-controlled study conducted with magnesium as a single therapy intervention in fibromyalgia.' Please see: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

I take all of the above, plus other vitamins/supplements, but they make no difference…

I recently was seen by a neurologist who recommended it , i did have a full week of stomache upset and feeling sick however have since settled down , i feel its been great with leg and ankle pain also i do feel a little more energetic although i do believe it could have a placebo effect on my brain if i think one thing is getting better i think im cured lol

I suffer this awful condition and found magnesium works for me. It doesn't take the pain completely away but it somehow eases the pain and makes moving about a little easier. I must recommend CBD oil with THC (if you lucky enough to source some). It's given me my sleep back. I compare myself to last year. . and it's changed my life. I used to take 3x 150mg Pregabilin everyday.... now i only take 1x 75mg once a day. All this prescribed medication is potent and over time does hurt to our bodies. Im trying slowly to reduce all my medication and only use CBD oil with THC. One day the world will see the magic in natural medication 🌿🏵✨️

My mum and dad have fibro. Mum is recently diagnosed and uses a magnesium spray. She loves it and says it helps ease her pains. Dad on the other hand is in severe pain and it doesn’t help him. Everyone is different, at the end of the day you have to do what works for you. Goodluck ☺️

I have used a magnesium spray for about 9 months, and at first it helped a lot with the pain, it doesn't seem to be as effective as before, but it does take some of the pain away. I was sceptical about using it, not really believing that it would help, but thinking it's worth a try, I'm glad I did try it. It works for some but not for others, it's all trial and error.
