Does anyone have any experience with something called "RED LIGHT THERAPY aka Photobiomodulation"?
I was thinking of having a group of sessions as thee clinic states that it is very helpful for chronic pain. As with everything else I have experienced, it does not come cheap, so just curious if anybody has had this. Many thanks

aka LLLT Low Level Laser Therapy - has little evidence, as desquinn says, is on wikipedia, for HLLT High... I've read studies and a meta-study suggesting help for chronic pain, incl. fibro, but not enough to convince me either.
I had to loo this up because I had not heard of it but it has some promise. It used to be called low level laser light therapy using laser operating at infra-read. That invisiible part of the spectrum is what we experience as radiant heat and it will penetrate deep into skine, tissue and through bone.
Originally used to burnout cancers it has been found at much lower levels to be beneficial to reduce pain and to promote healing damaged tissue. Pulsing the laser makes sure that there is no risk of overheating tissue. This therapy is even being usedf now with brain injury and and hair/scalp rejuvenation. It seems to work but there is not a large amount of scientific study yet. But what we know is it is not harmful and seems to be beneficial to nearly everybody. Let us know how you get on. You might be onto something.
