So annoyed with surgeon

For years about 12infact I got told I wasn't suffering pain in my lipoma lumps I kept getting pushed back and forth to different department cause even though the lumps were under the skin the dermatologist only deals with above the skin!eventually I got referred to a surgeon to remove one lump,he with trainee next to him officially diagnosed dercums disease hereditary from my father as he had over 30from his wrist to elbow alone they sent the cut out lump for biopsy in may!I've had to get passed about on telephone today to get results of it and it turns out he never even put it in my notes as diagnosis! Now my own Dr didn't even know what this was or dermatologist its a rare thing so I was meant to go back and get another lump cut out from below my stomach as I can only eat small amounts or my body rejects the food ,so now I have to go back to the beginning I'm nearly in tears here,I'm so angry, that surgeon has left so he can't even answer to it.I don't know where to complain or if I even have the energy to.

Actually after writing on here I phoned cross house to find out complaints procedure and a lovely person helped it get done there&then so need to wait 21days for them to get back to me,so hopefully they'll help me get back on track to right department.I'm still annoyed and stressed.

I am so sorry to read your story this seems to happen all the time they just don't seem good at putting things on notes they seem to leave it to each other and then as in your case nothing gets done. Do hope they now take notice of you and you can get some treatment. Good luck.x

Thanks r.w because its rare there's only ever been 86publishings of study findings they have vein's and nerves running through them thier different from lipomas they can also attach to any organ in the body, there's a specialist in USA which I've messaged to see if she knows of any here in UK,thanks for your support.🙏👵😸

i have several lipomas. have had two removed while leaving the third. each were/are painful. i've never heard anything about a lipoma interfering with ability to eat. that almost sounds like a hernia or an odd cyst or? maybe see a gastroentrologist since they deal with problems with being able to eat. just a thought. best of luck. doctor's don't seem to understand much about lipomas. they kept wanting to drain the fluid on mine except there is no fluid with a lipoma. had driven me nuts for years. i've left the one lipoma because the scar tissue from second one is worse than pain from the lipoma. fibro mucks up everything doesn't it?

No I have dercums disease they are painful ones, fibro spasms doesn't help the dercums definitely not. I suffer cysts so on constant ani biotics its the dercums.thanks for your support.
