Chronicallycandidmom profile image

I waa diagnosed with Fibro over 10 years ago. I have been in and of Ultram which seemed a God send at first..now it doesnt work at all. Should i ask my dr to up my mg? On 50mg. Or should ask for something stronger? With morphine patch do Reg. drs prescribe or would i have to go to a pain management dr?

Sorry to hear. There is no such thing as a morphine patch. Anyway if you are only on 50mg, then upping your dose probably would be the first step. Or maybe try other medicines !

Hi Chronicallycandidmom

I am so genuinely sorry to read of how you are suffering and struggling and I sincerely hope that your pain eases for you soon. I have just been reading on Drugs.Com that the maximum dosage is 400mg per day, so you could talk to your doctor about increasing this as there is plenty of scope.

The only thing I would say is that these kinds of drugs are highly addictive, so please take care of yourself my friend. I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken
