Morning everyone.......I wont say GOOD morning 😒

I'm after some advise & the benefit of my friend's experience on here.

I haven't stopped being sick since yesterday afternoon, I'm constantly in pain from head to fingertips to toes which is exasperated to unbearable when vomiting.

Besides the fibro I have crohns disease and I'm not actually sure whether it's the fibro or the crohns flaring.

I'm sorry if I'm not making sense, but im sitting here crying & don't know what to do for the best.

It could even just be a bug I've got, Have any of you ever felt like this.....that constant throbbing that stops you sleeping and nothing will ease it??

Can anybody advise anything I can do, or do I just ride the wave and wait for it to pass??

Has anybody on here actually been hospitalised through there fibromyalgia??

Thank you so much xxxx

I do get migraines that are very painful, give me brain fog and vomiting. Difficult to say whether you have a bug or food poisoning . Have you been abroad recently or know someone who has? If you don't feel well enough to go to your GP how about a telephone consultation ?

Hope you feel better soon. Feeling so I'll is bound to bring your spirit down.

As you have Crohn's Disease I suggest you see your GP as soon as possible, if no appointment available go to A&E this does sound like a flare in symptoms. I'm not medically trained my brother has this. x

Hi debit, sorry to hear your situation...I have fibro and ibs, I sometimes get that bad but it is usually because I have caught a bug...

Really need to get doctors or phone call if you can't make it.. be careful not to get too dehydrated because that will make things much worse!!!

Best wishes

Steve

Trying to keep the water down Steve.

Just to make things a little more interesting I've also got an Ileostomy through historical bowel disease!!! That seems to be doing ok, considering I've hardly eaten. Which make me thinks it may be some kind of bug.

I've had pain for approx 3 years & a confirmed diagnosis of fibro 2 years ago, but I must say I have never felt all over pain like I'm feeling today. Which made me ask the question of being admitted.

Thanks xx

I wouldn't leave it too long,,if you can you need to get some re hydration remedy, will help with the cramps and headaches, you will have lost all the salts and water won't work alone which make you feel terrible

Thanks so much, I'd considered GP but haven't got the energy to get there!!

Feeling that sorry for myself I never considered a telephone consultation.....thanks Betty67 😘

I'll keep you updated xxxx

Telephone consultation with my GP in 15 mins, how about that for NHS gold star service!! πŸ˜‰

I am so genuinely sorry to read that and I sincerely hope that you feel better soon. I would ask your GP to pay you a visit and see what they can do for you? I want to sincerely wish you all the bets of luck.

All my hopes and dreams for you

I hope you feel better soon x

Once again, thank you for taking the time to reply to my shout for help.

I spoke to my GP and she thought it sounded more like a bug that was exasperating the fibro.

She sent some anti sickness and pain relief to the house and I slept most of the day.

1 tip she did give me for future reference, try to drink flat lemonade or coke instead of water, as these have got some calories in and it's the calories that make you feel better!!

How do I feel today?? Body is throbbing less, but mother of all headaches which could be down to dehydration.

Another day of anti sickness, pain relief and settee πŸ˜‰πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜
