I am a 45 yr old male fibro sufferer who has recently gone through a relationship breakdown. ( mutual and still friends for our kids sake, plus i have no energy to argue, lol ) So i wanted to know is there such a thing as a singles or friendship type site/forum for us sufferers. I feel i want another relationship in some way shape or form but why not choose a partner who will understand what it is we go through and support each other through bad times. Anyhow i just wondered if such a thing is out there, and what do people think about my theory of being with someone who also is a sufferer. thnx. Andy

Hi, don't know of any sites but applaud your thinking. We only live once, do what's right for you.
yes we do only live once. Maybe there should be a friendship forum of people wanting anything a friend to long term relationship. Sometimes a chat with a fellow human who knows how you feel can help you.
Hi madddyyy
I hope that you are as well as can be? I am sorry but I do not know the answer to your question. However, I would like to say that I admire you for your spirit and determination to keep on getting up and having a go!
I sincerely hope that you can find true love again, and if so, please come on the forum and share the good news with us.
Take care
Ken
I've never heard of a fibro dating site specifically but I think there are a couple of sites dedicated to disabled people dating. Have you looked for a fibro support group near to you? You would at least make friends there and then who knows ..........
Good luck xx
Hi Andy I too am a fibro sufferer I get fibrofog as well which is quite daunting at times and I have to one of my kids at all times I'm tired nearly all the time and just writing this is taking it out of me anyway warm huggles friend . Ros xx
Hi Andy,
What a wonderful idea! I often think I'm never going to find people who will understand my fibro and other disabilities so who will be interested in a lady in her 50's with hearing aid, walking stick, colitis and fibro. Quite a list that's not to mention depression, anxiety, OCD. Better I stay on my own
