Grrrr.  Don't you just hate it when your friends and family say "but you look really well". Yeah like that's make up and effort !  Gets me down . 

Just had to get that off my chest. Onwards and upwards. Lovely sunny day.  If my neck would work  lol !

There are two that i feel like slapping the speaker silly. 

 "Oh its just your age." I feel like screaming, "No its has nothing to do with age, any age can get it."

And, "Oh i know how you feel, I get that."

Ohh yes that is one of the worst, its so frustrating especially when you know how much effort has gone into just functioning that day.

My go to reply when people say that is "Actually I'm not well but I am happy, there is a difference" its amazing though how many people don't get that

Do a search online for something called "Open Letter to Normals" I think its on FMSCommunity.org, its really good in helping to explain aspects of having fibro to people

I know exactly where your coming from, it w only last night we were at ours son,s when we got onto this subject.

At our son,s there is 3 Adults and 2 childern her mother lives with them and I must say it works the house is big enough.

Her mum has been having trouble with her thyroid and been feeling generally unwell.

Any way top and bottom we was talking about Fibromayia Thyroid and CFS.

I my self have had Fibromayia for a long time and learnt to pace my self but most of the time I look pritty well, I founded this so funny her daughter said well you know all theses thinks are called the invisible illness, we all look at each other and started to laugh.

She was not I pressed we just said thank goodness one of the family members have done a bit of research.

I was proud of her and said thank you for understanding.

Think I mite print a bit of information out and post it to all family members.lol

If you find the secret to make your neck work can you pass it on to me please? I just take the 'but you look so well' comments with a pinch of salt now. It's useless trying to explain as it goes in one ear and out the other. Should it persist I tell them that I'm glad it doesn't show as I don't want pity 😀🐸
