Please report to your gp asap. This is not normal, I am not qualified to
diagnose or advise you. It's important to have that checked very soon,
if not today even if it is not acting up right now...
You should expect to be referred to a heart doctor who will decide if immediate
action will be taken or if you need to go home on a monitor for the heart..
It's a painless diagnostic test (holter monitor-heart recorder) I do believe
that it's standard practice here as well as there..I do wish you luck and stay
calm..You are not over reacting when it comes to matters of the heart..xxx Karen
Hi korky, you should definitely get it checked out with your g.p if it's something regarding your heart just to rule out any heart probs.Do you suffer with panic attacks at all? Please go see your g.p ASAP x
Hi - please don't ignore any heart problems/worries / see your doctor for reassurance
I ignored some pretty obvious signs of heart problems earlier this year
I suffered a heart attack on the 1st august
I'm on the road to recovery now but it has taught me a valuable lesson
Do yourself a favour and have a quick checkup with your g.p.
Hi there Korky I don't think you are going mad but a visit to your GP would be a good idea as the others have already said heart issues should not be ignored it is better to be safe than sorry
It could be anything or nothing. My husband wakes like that after he's had a nightmare for instance he never remembers the content of his dreams or nightmares but instead he feels the emotions and can remember being scared or threatened or happy etc if its just a dream just a thought!
Many calming lavender fluffies for you

Hi Korky, I would agree with what the others have said that you should get checked out by your doctor. I would however say that I have experienced very much the same thing, which my doctor put down to palpitations, but it is important that you do get medical advice about this, even just to rule out other more unpleasant things.
Sending positive healing vibes your way, and do let us know how you get on please
Foggy x
