Hi VG, Thanks for that, I thought at first you were being your usual lovely self ,grumpy, which of course you`re not, you just like to think you are ,I think you`re funny and entertaining, which gives me a lot of laughs sometimes, however, enough of this admiration society thing, otherwise it looks like we`re both getting dopey, I do actually eat a lot of bananas, never gave it a thought about them being good for cramps, so perhaps I`ll eat more, must admit, it does get boring sometimes though, still, once again, thanks for that.
I get terrible leg cramping but when I asked my GP for help she said it was something I had to live with. Just to make sure I exercised and stretched properly which I do. I eat loads of bananas but still cramp
Doctors do sometimes prescribe quinine sulphate for leg cramps - might be worth checking with your GP. Also, a quick way to adjust your electrolytes is to take a rehydration sachet in a glass of water - worth remembering in this warm, muggy weather.
I always take issue with doctors who say 'you have to live with it' - that's only correct when all avenues of treatment have been tried!
Hi, try tonic water, this was recommended to me years ago by a friend who got very bad cramp she used to have glass every night before going to bed. Xx
I take magnesium for cramps. Its amazing how many of us,are deficient in magnesium x
