Hello fybro family, I hope everyone is keeping as well as they can.

I need a bit of advice please...I have a new symptom which is itching all over my body, its particularly intense on my face & is driving me to distraction.

Any tips on what to do to soothe this would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi DreamgreenI often have itching, face included. I have fibro and Sjogrens so prone to dryness and sensitivity.

Look for all natural products and avoid chemicals.

I have to cut my usual bath salts out when I itch. Weather changes can set me off.

For me it is usually triggered by stress and dehydration may be a factor.

I hope you find something that helps.

Consider a whole body approach.

Fibro hug

Hello Gigi, thank you for your reply.

I do use all natural skin products & am transisitioning to all natural cleaning products.

I will up my water intake, as been a bit slack on that lately.

Gentle hugs🤗

Could be menopause related? Adding extra moisturiser really helps me

Hey moo196, thank you for your reply. Didn't think about it being menopausal related, I'll give that a go.

Gentle hugs🤗

Hi, it's awful isn't it, itching all over, driving you mad! It comes and goes thankfully, but when it's here it's unbearable. I have Dermol cream from the doctors, which helps a bit. I have been known to stand under a cold shower to try and relieve it. Also I take some antihistamine if it gets really bad. Hope you find something that will help you soon. Gentle hugs.

Hi Dreamagreen

My gp gave me a low dose antihistamine that I take daily. I also have a top up tablet I can take if ihe itching gets worse. I hope you can get it sorted.

I use aloe Vera gel as anything else reacts and makes matters worse.
