Two more weeks before my lidocaine infusion. I am in the worst pain I have ever had ! It feels like broken bones and I am left unable to straighten my joints out.
I had to take an emergency day off work to get my pain killers which are no longer working. The doctors have a triage system so you never see the same GP twice.
Spending 4 nights at my boyfriends who has a memory foam matress has helped me sleep a little better. Coming home to my own bed I have had to put pillows under my joints that hurt. I cannot clench a fist my hands hurt that much my knees elbows wrists and feet are horrible hurting like when you break a bone.
I had a night out over the weekend. Does alcohol aggrevate anyone else. Its one of my triggers andi have not drank in 6 months and I have now decided to be almost t total as I cannot cope with the pain from a night out.

3 after having a liver biopsy it seems my liver cannot metabolise alcohol or any opiate meds which is why I get drunk amazingly quickly and opiates have the same effect as alcohol
My trigger point injections which I was due to have beginning of April I am having this Saturday so have not been my normal, self recently as in so much pain
So I empathise totally about the pain. You are going through.
yes I can relate to the drink triggering the fibri and making it worse, I found this out over 30 yrs ago, and not had a drop since, it really aggrivates the fibro big time, must be the weather as I think we are all feeling very rough, my body is so sore, and I wanted to know if anyone when they wake up either in the night or morning feel like there lungs have dropped back and return to there rightful position when standing up, also I get a terrible pain in the back f my head when I lay down it wakes me up even if i lay on a soft downy pillow anyon else with the same symptoms...hope you have a better day tomorrow gentle hugs to you ...Dee xxx
