Hello beautiful ladies, I want to give an update about my Journey of supplements and vitamins. I took Co q10 ,inositol, vitamin D,C,E, Iron, omega 3 fish oil, selenium, folic acid and Resveratrol for 9 months before my egg retrieval I got 2 eggs 1 fertilised via ICIS but dit not make it to transfer which was November 2021 December 2021 had another egg retrieval only 1 egg but did not fertilised via ICIS so I told my professor that I want to try DHEA to improve my egg quality he refused saying that there is no evidence that it will help I insisted that I want to try if he would monitor me so he agreed and ordered a blood test to check my level which came back normal for my age 42year old I told him I don’t care what my level was for my age that I want to try it so he said that there is no harm in trying it so I started it 23/12/21. I just had my egg retrieval 16/05/22 I had 4 eggs 3 fertilised via ICIS and 1 put back in me a day3 Embrayo 8 cell TOP quality and the remaining 2 will be frozen at day 5 if all goes well. My AMH was 0.45 in October 2021 so to me DHEA helped me to improve my eggs quality PS I took this supplements this time for about 5 months DHEA, Omega 3 fish oil, selenium, vitamin D,C and Folic acid only

DHEA totally has evidence - including in women with normal DHEA levels (this wasn't checked in these studies included in this analysis so you can assume that it wasn't an important factor regarding taking it)...show your professor this publication pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/313...

It is extremely hard to show a significant increase in live birth in fertility studies due to it being a relatively rare event, so that is another reason i think these studies are important and show it works

There is evidence and research about DHEA in the book it’s starts with the egg. They should know this. It seems like you’ve had huge success with it and I am thinking about trying it

Yes but he said there is not enough evidence. Please try it and see for yourself if it works or not because that is what I did and there is no harm in trying that is what he said. Good luck I hope it works for you

Hi, my consultant is also not pro DHEA. But said I can take if I can get it. Can you let me know how much you took? 25mg per day or more? thanks
