Inositol

I have read several studies that have found people with Hashi's that have taken 200mg of Selenomethionine (organic soil based Selenium) and Myo-inositol together experienced reductions in antibodies causing positive effects on the condition.

I take B12, B complex, D3, K, Selenium and Myo-inositol in the morning, after my breakfast. Does that sound okay?

I've been taking myo-inositol for about a month and a half and I believe it has been helping but I'm wondering if I need to time my doses better. I'm taking this to help with PCOS symptoms and help get my weight down so I can get on the wait list for IVF.

I was wondering about people's experience with Inositol as it aids losing weight? I have struggled with this for a long time, no matter what I do I just cannot shift any weight. Any advice is welcome, thank you!

I'm due to start meds next week and EC scheduled for 25th September and I'm just so lost on whether to continue with the inositol or not. Would appreciate any advice, thank you xx

Hello, wondering if anyone has experience of taking myo-inositol and any impact on their TSH please? I’ve been taking it for 4 months for PCOS, TSH was 1.1 just before I started and is now 4.8 (T3 and T4 within range).

It also doesn’t have inositol, choline or biotin, although I don’t know how important they are. Would like to find a product that comprises of all the above to supplement what’s absent from the Homocysteine product but with low doses of what’s in the list below.

Now we're trying for another baby and I'm very keen to try inositol supplements again. However Science has evolved lots and it has been shown that supplements with only D-chiro-inositol are not safe. The recommendation is myo/D-chiro-inositol in 40:1 dose (ideally 2000mg /50mg per day).

Then a few years later I found inositol and started taking that. Within 6 months I got pregnant out of nowhere, after 11 years of infertility. However I had a misscarriage. The miscarriage took ages for me to complete taking 2 courses of medication. I had alot of problems for 6 months after that.

Hi Guys came across this regarding Inositol and selenium my understanding of is that it helps with the iodination process of the thyroid . Please can I have your thought on this .

I started taking inositol 2g x2 daily about 3 months ago but so far does not appear to be making a difference.

I have an irregular cycle due to PCOS. I have tried to use the LH strips with no success. Wonder what other people with PCOS have done to track ovulation? Background: TTC 12 months. Wait list for fertility clinic. On myoinositol, vit d, folic acid and co10q

I’m taking some tablets with inositol metformin to help. Or any stories of hope after miscarriage!! :)
