First FET cycle

Day 1 on my period today.. I wondered why I hadn’t heard from the clinic, they hadn’t sent me my protocol! But panic over everything signed and sent to me. Oestradiol Tablets Collected from my local pharmacy.

I don’t know why I thought I would be having a few weeks worth of injections again?

I suppose this is totally different to a fresh cycle as embryos are already in the freezer ready and waiting ❤️

From what I can see it Looks like

10 days Oestradiol Tablets

Scan to check lining

day 15 Cyclogest 400 mg pessary three times a day

Onto transfer and so on…

Any tips.. advice welcome…. Any Side affects from these meds?

Yeah, it's totally different to stims - thank goodness!! Everyone reacts differently, but I found the progesterone made me really short tempered (and really hungry!!) Best of luck with transfer xxx

Yes it’s so much easier that the fresh cycle. Doesn’t feel like your meds for long at all and is very straightforward. All the best and enjoy this time!! My FET is today so almost the end for me just the 2WW xxx

My first FET too, transfer tomorrow. It’s been soooooo much easier than fresh. The oestrogen made me feel quite sick, esp when I increased to 3times a day. That went away after a week or so and now on that plus progesterone pessaries 2x day. Very simple. Other than 1 baseline scan and the transfer, no need to go to the clinic either.
