Advice on first FET cycle

Hi lovely ladies. 😊👋Hope you’re all well and having a good week so far.

I have recently started my preparation month for my first FET transfer cycle which is exciting and nerve racking!😀

I started taking my buserelin spray today in addition to NET. I need to take the buserelin spray four times a day in each nostril so I have decided to take the spray at around 7am, midday, 5pm and 10pm. Are these times okay and does it matter if I change the morning time slightly at the weekend if I wake up a bit later? Also has anyone experienced side effects from the spray? I felt rather grumpy/hormonal this evening but not sure if that is just general tiredness from work!

Any advice/ experiences would be very much appreciated. 😊 xx

Hi Kat. Ooh exciting stuff v pleased for u that u all started.

I can’t remember fully if can slightly change it. I mostly knew where was at and morning and night if got up late or went to bed earlier I just kept it by the side of me set alarm quick spray and back to sleep. Think I did those exact times too. That worked for me.

Found it could get awkward at work at times so am sure mine were out by 1/2hr or so at times and was fine. Check with clinic but yeah think 1/2-1hr is fine at times then just try stick to it as much as can. As said it was around a year ago I did the spray as had the injections instead this time so can’t remember fully.

When would your transfer be? Pleased for u. Got everything crossed 🤞🤞👍👍🙌

Hello lovely, thank you for your message and sorry for my slow reply.

Thank you for this super useful advice. I took your advice and have set my alarm at the weekends so I can take my nasal spray and then go back to sleep!

All being well 🤞, my transfer will be in a couple of weeks. xxx

I had the nasal spray and just got told to space it out. Cant imagine a couple of late sprays in the morning at the weekend will harm! I had to change to injections as the spray didn't work for me but grumpiness, tiredness & headaches are all side effects I had! Good luck.xx

I had nasal spray for my fresh cycle which started in March and they said it's fine of the times vary a wee bit. Just take it as soon as you. Hopefully I will be starting my FET soon too. Good luck xx
