Cyclogest

The last time I had my fresh embryo transfer I was taking Cyclogest rectally, but this time I’m wondering if it’ll absorb better taking it vaginally as I’m reading mixed reviews online. Would love to hear from you, ladies as to your opinions or experiences tysm xx

has anyone experienced bloating and abdominal pain from taking the 400mg cyclogest pessaries? if so what have you done to resolve this safely and naturally?

Hi ladies, I’m taking cyclogest morning and evening and I will have to continue doing it for the next couple of weeks. My clinic only mentioned to do it twice daily but the didn’t give any more indications. I’m taking one in the morning and one at night before going to bed.

Has anyone experienced side effects like this of Cyclogest, and if so what did you do about it?

Started my cyclogest pessary yestoday evening and noticed this morning I have white little floaty bits in my urine I take this is normal ?

I’m doing a natural modified FET and started x1 Lubion morning and x1 Cyclogest at night 36 hours post trigger. My levels came back at >190. I asked if it was ok and wasn’t it too high and the nurse said it’s great and to see me at the transfer.

I have stopped the cyclogest but still bleeding. Anyone who has experience this before should pls share her success stories.

hi Did anyone take 3 400mg cyclogest pessaries a day on IVF? I’m not sure whether to take two in the morning and one at the night. Or if it’s the other way round. Thanks :)

Hi choosing to opt trying using the cyclogest rectally instead of vaginally as from reading it is a lot less messy. Anyone recommend any lubricants that can be used to help the insertion of the pessary ?

Hello ladies, I’m just wondering if anyone experiences the same thing I do after inserting cyclogest So when I do that I notice it dissolves and then some of it drips out like period does, I don’t know if it’s normal because am worried of it actually working while is drips out.

Has anyone’s clinic advised them to only take Cyclogest vaginally, for better absorption? I’m unsure what to do for my FET and my clinic have said either way is fine.

I’ve have four miscarriages so I have been told to take aspirin and progesterone (cyclogest) from a positive test, which i started cyclogest yesterday afternoon. I’m not sure what I’m asking really, I’m just so concerned about my lining.

I just done cyclogest vaginally and my transfer this afternoon. Clinic didn’t tell me to take it rectum on day of transfer and they don’t open till 9am! Is this still okay! Online says it should be rectum and I’m freaking out

Hello,I have been taking cyclogest for a couple of months. At the beginning it was causing me vulvar irritation which I managed by using 100% organic cotton liners and changing then very often.

Hi, I'm currently in my TWW and on 2 Cyclogest pessaries a day and I'm so sleepy all the tired even if I sleep well at night! Anyone else had this?

Hi everyone, I've been currently taking cyclogest pessaries for almost 5 weeks now to support my pregnancy. I've noticed light pink spotting last week which stopped, I was initially inserting the pesseries vaginally but was told by the nurse to insert them rectally instead.

Hi this may be TMI but has anyone experienced bleeding rectally because of cyclogest? I’m 2dp5dt and I had some pink discharge when I wiped but can’t work out which part it has come from. Has anyone had similar?

After blood results from today I’m going to be weaning off a lot of my meds from this weekend (although they said cyclogest will remain until around week 25!) is it normal to feel SO bloody nervous to stop the progesterone injections, oestrogen, steroids etc?
