Cyclogest

Has anyone’s clinic advised them to only take Cyclogest vaginally, for better absorption? I’m unsure what to do for my FET and my clinic have said either way is fine.

I started taking cyclogest 2 days ago and have felt so dizzy and spaced out since. Is this a normal side effect which passes? Really want to stop taking them

apologies everyone but I am struggling with cyclogest! I had my egg retrieval 3 days ago and I was advised to start cyclogest right away. I am still bloated, my stomach is tense, and I am experiencing all possible side effects: breast tenderness, dizzy, gas, constipation.

Due to a haematoma that’s very slowly reducing, the EPU has given me a letter to take to the GP so that they can prescribe me with Cyclogest for weeks 12-16.

I've just started my cyclogest pessaries yesterday evening in preparation for a frozen transfer on Thursday and am taking them vaginally.

We had a modified natural protocol - all natural except I took an ovulation trigger and am taking cyclogest 400mg twice a day for luteal support. My clinic says their guidance suggests I can stop cyclogest at 8 weeks, but I can continue longer if stopping then will stress me out.

I took cyclogest from 3DPO for that cycle too, so this is my first cycle back taking it again and my hopes were soooo high, feeling like a right idiot now. I have had a few symptoms but I'd say they were down to the cyclogest.

Then when lining is ready she will start to take cyclogest (3x 400mg daily) for 3 weeks or longer. On the 6th day of taking cyclogest, she will have a blood test for progesterone and embryo transfer.

For my FET I’ll be taking Cyclogest on a higher dose. So my question is does the medication need to be identical? I’m doing both at different clinics hence the slight variation. Grateful for advice/experiences etc. Many thanks

I use to use cyclogest (400mg) in the morning and evening and lubion in the evening. I feel like I’m going to be taking less progesterone now.

I need to take my lubion injection and cyclogest with me. Wedding is outside in the heat. Any clever ideas on how to keep the medication cool? I thought about a cooler bag. Will this do the trick? Anyone done this before? Thank you.

after posting my cyclogest worry, my clinic said my progesterone was on the low side and added lubion. I was fine with the stimms back in July but oh my Lubion is bad! I got no problem with the injection, but I did my first last night and the area hurts? Like it’s a bruise but no bruise?

Just wondering whether anyone has used cyclogest prophylactically to support pregnancy? Thank you in advance x

hey everyone , I’m 8 weeks pregnant and on Cyclogest , I just put one in ( rectally) and needed the toilet straight after - sorry tmi 😂 do i need to put another one in ? Worried I haven’t absorbed any ! Xxx

I went trough a lots of bleeding first 12 weeks but baby was always fine and it was put down to cyclogest. This chat brough for me lots of reinsurance when I needed it most. You all ladies were very helpful to me.

has anyone ever missed a dose of inserting pessaries before their frozen tranfer? basically I celebrated my daughters birthday yesterday was so tired I went straight to bed last naught forgetting to take my pessaries. my transfer is booked for Tuesday and it’s Sunday today…I’m freaking out!!!!!

its 4 days post transfer and I’ve had no symptoms - I’m taking prontogest daily ,2 cyclogest and vagimfem . I’ve not had a single symptom apart from the sinking feeling it failed .

It's really been a problem since egg collection so I think it's likely the Cyclogest causing it..... Help really appreciated!!

My first cycle I was on x2 Cyclogest and no injections and I have asked for more as I don’t feel it was enough in my first fresh failed transfer. Thanks in advance x So I wanted to update that my clinic are only giving me x2 cyclogest a day plus a lubion injection daily..

I stopped taking my cyclogest a few days ago, can this be because of that or is this the start of a miscarriage 😢
