Early period after Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy?

Hi lovelies,

I hope you are all well.

So I finally had my Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy (feeling very grateful).

They confirmed and resolved problems with Endo and a stuck ovary!

However, my period arrived a few days early, just after I’d stopped spotting from the Hyst (3.5 days after the Op, to be exact).

Have any of you had an early period after a Hysteroscopy? It seems like it is to be expected. Private fertility treatment is on hold until my next cycle, so really hoping I don’t get another surprise mid-month visit from AF soon, which would put me back even further!!!

Yes, I would say is quite normal to have your period early. I was also spotting just few day after Hysteroscopy and had to increase my birth control pills to 2 tablets per day to stop my bleeding as I was preparing for FET. Also after HyCoSy same thing happened- had 2 menstrual cycles that month 😤, I think they were 19 days apart. Take care and I wish you a speedy recovery ❤️‍🩹
