I was on this forum literally 26 days ago saying how devastated I was that my FET with my last Embie had failed and I had to resign myself to not being able to give my wonderful girl a sibling.
Well my husband has been living abroad for work since May and 15 days ago we came out to visit him (here for 5 weeks) and I ovulated the day after I arrived. Literally only DTD the night before, first time in months! Tested yesterday and BFP on the day AF was due. I’m so thrilled but cautious too. Currently in the Middle East and going to see a doctor tomorrow and get bloods etc to check progesterone levels etc.
I know success stories can be really hard to swallow sometimes but I’m sharing in the hope that my journey gives someone a sliver of light if their journey is particularly challenging ❤️
I’m nearly 40, had two mcs and three chemical pregnancies, my only child is an ivf miracle now this! Genuinely feels like a miracle

Your story is absolutely incredible, and I’m so happy for you! What an unexpected and beautiful twist in your journey! Congratulations! Wishing you all the best with your doctor’s appointment tomorrow and hoping everything looks perfect. xx
Thank you so much. It took me 5.5 heartbreaking years to get pregnant with my daughter (ivf fresh transfer in 2021) and during that egg collection, we only got 2 embryos past day 5. She was a 4AB that went straight in but the other didn’t reach its potential until day 6, where it was frozen (4AA). When I transferred that second one last month and it didn’t work, I was on the floor hopeless. Of course I’m so so grateful to have my wonderful daughter and she’s perfect in every way, but we had hoped to give her her the gift of a sibling. Never in a million years would I have thought we could have achieved it naturally. Obviously only 4 weeks 3 days so an incredibly long road ahead but enjoying this moment for now ❤️
