Fresh cycle after hysteroscopy

I am due to have my hysteroscopy early April prior to my 6th Ivf attempt. I am very nervous about it and wondered how long you've had to wait afterwards before getting going with a fresh IVf cycle. I am keen to hear if a hysteroscopy and removal of tissue has helped anyone achieve a successful ivf outcome. I've previously had a miscarriage and multiple implantation failures. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks

Following 4 cycles of IVF - 2 mmc and 2 unsuccessful, I then had free fluid if my uterus so had 2 hysteroscopy’s last year, the month after my 2nd I had a natural FET and am now 30 weeks pregnant.

I was told you can start the month after your hysteroscopy as it acts as a scratch and can support implantation. Have you asked about taking steroids if you’ve had a history of implantation failure? X

So pleased to hear it was that quick and congrats on your positive. I hope the pregnancy is going well. I was put on steroids for my 4th attempt and we will be doing it again once I'm ready for the next fresh cycle. Why did you need more than one hysteroscopy if you don't mind me asking?

Oh that’s good, I’m almost sure it was steroids that made the difference for me. The first time they wanted to drain the fluid so I was awake for it then when the fluid still hadn’t gone my consultant suspected a polyp so I had 1 under anaesthetic, it was so frustrating at the time as my cycles kept being abandoned x

I will be going under so I am hopeful that my consultant can take out and cut away any tissue that shouldn't be there. I am so eager to get going again. The waiting is tough.
