So last week had our follow up with a wonderful consultant who specialises in embryo implantation and development. She was really thorough and we discussed our options and concerns for as long as we wanted. New plan is to have the endometrial scratch, then start on a combination of the menapur and gonal f, some steroids, and antibiotics, oh and progesterone injections, so I'm going to be a rattling pin cushion by the end of it! She also wants to stim me for a little longer to increase the crop as it were! Husband wants to wait until November which is hard for me as I just want to jump back on, but hopefully the break will do us both good, and this limbo doesn't kill me! Hope all is well with everyone! Thank you! How have you found the steroids? I'm a tad worried they will turn me into a monster!!!! Xxx good luck to you lovely! Xxx
Sounds like she was a great help and good to have a more tailored plan for you!
Novemeber will be here before you know it! Use these months to take care of yourself and get prepped for all those needles lol xx
Will do and thank you, just need that patience! Xx
Hi there, glad you've had a decent/thorough consultation. Did the doc shed any light on what might have been affecting the embryos developing?
Sounds great you've got a set plan of what next and when. It takes solid strength and determination to do this so well done you! Xx
Thank you! Well she said at the mo she wouldn't want to speculate too much, perhaps it's just my eggs, but she didn't think we should worry just yet, and lifestyle for my husband so more vitamins, diet etc. And then see how the next round goes. She also thinks as they triggered me a bit early last time that could have effected my egg quality which in turn could be the embryo problem! Xxx
