So we've got our follow up appointment next week for our failed ICSI in june/July. Does anyone have any advise on what I could ask? Further information etc... I know they can't really answer the "why?" Question. But it's a free consultation, so thought we may as well use it.

Hi Becky - We have ours coming up in September and I'm putting together a list of questions. For me it's more about what we can do to improve our chances. It depends on your circumstances but I'm thinking along the lines of; Could DHEA improve my egg quality/quantity? When can I take it and how long for? Would he recommend more exercise as last time I would only walk as I was concerned that I would put stress on my body. Does he recommend taking asprin if the ICSI works? Is there anything additionally we can do to improve sperm motility other than no caffeine/alcohol and taking supplements? There's a few more but basically it's stuff like that. As much as I'm looking for answers I imagine that, as nothing really went wrong last time, he's going to tell us to do the same again. I hope it all goes well for you and you find it a positive experience. How long do you have to wait before your next cycle? x x x
Lovely thank you very much. We're not sure if we're trying again yet. It depends on if we can get the funds 😢. A nice little lottery win would be amazing! 😅
Oh bless you, I think we could all do with a little lotto win to boost our chances! We have a review in September but we're NHS so we can't start treatment again until January - feels like a lifetime away at the moment but we're very grateful that we get 3 attempts. Let me know how the review goes for you, let's hope our next go gets us our little babas x x x
Diane the nurse/support on here has a list of questions she will send you if you ask her x
