Follow up appointment

Well my daughter had to ring her clinic today and tell them what had happened with her loosing her baby. Their reaction was to say “do you want to start treatment straight away”. She was shocked that they didn’t have any empathy at all. Anyway, she has her next appointment February 28th so hopefully we will have got the funds by then. We are doing fund raising as we have used all our saving and we have managed to raise £1500 in 4 days. Our friends have been amazing and have helped us get through the last few days and are helping by donating . Xxx

Sorry the clinic was so unsympathetic to your daughter, my consultant was so understanding so hopefully at her appt they’ll show more compassion. Well done on your fundraising that’s a great amount so far x

I'm shocked by the lack of empathy, but I fear it's widespread. I do hope she feels strong enough for the next cycle and the fundraising continues to go well xxx

She has had a bad day today bless her but she is a strong character and she will be fine . We are only 1200 off our target now so we are really grateful to Ppl who are supporting the fund xx

Poor thing. There are good days and bad. Eventually there will be more good than bad though, it just takes time xx
