So we had our review with our consultant yesterday and it went well. He can't see any reason for the chemical apart from the fact it would have chromosome issues and wouldn't have ever been a viable pregnancy...very common apparently! I asked so many questions about whether we should have more tests, extra hormone support etc and he said we don't need to do any of that especially at this stage.
We have signed all the paperwork to start again in January! I feel like seeing him has sort of given me closure on the last cycle and I feel ready to go again!!
I am going to try and detox myself and get into a good routine on healthy eating and exercise again this month (December might be tricky with our birthdays and Christmas!!)
January cannot come around quick enough!
Thanks for reading ladies, much love xx

My clinic said exactly the same to me after my chemical. I was told that chemicals are really common, even in ladies with no fertility challenges, most don’t even know they’ve had them. I was sceptical, particularly after a BFN the following cycle, but then I got my BFP the cycle after that, so there really doesn’t appear to have been any obvious reason for it. Good luck with your cycle in Jan.
Thank you! Yeah I never realised how common it is. Just Sod’s law it happens to us when we are so desperately trying every which way to have a baby! Hopefully it will work out for me next time. Congratulations on your BFP 😘
Hey silverlini. So happy you are focused on your next round and that you are feeling reassured after your apt. All the best for your cycle in Jan. Really praying 2019 will be the year for you xxx
Hi silverlini, my consultant was very positive after our chemical and said we have a good chance with our next embryo because it means we can get pregnant, said the same as yours that it can just be a chromosome issue and they can't really tell before they transfer them back. I guess we just have to trust them, really hope u get ur bfp next time, good luck xox
We had letter last weekend to say we are top of waiting list, waiting for appointment letter to come so I'm guessing we will start before Christmas, pretty nervous, but like u I'm trying now to be healthier,my biggest problem is chocolate, couldn't give it up completely🙈January will come round in no time for you ☺xox
Oh good! I’m glad to hear! Shouldn’t be too long to get going again then. It is a nervous time but it’s also good to know there is hope and you’re working in the right direction.
Ahh see I love chocolate but I’ve given it up for this month! It’s wine for me 🙃 I love a nice glass of wine (or 2!) so I’m trying to limit myself now!xx
I’m glad you’re now feeling ready to carry on. Hopefully the new year will start off in the best possible way for you 🤞🏻 Don’t be too strict over Christmas and on your birthdays. Treat yourself in moderation xx
