Surgery date - finally!

I haven't posted on here in a while, but I am currently having the flare-up of my life. Pain in both ovaries, my chest and kidneys are so sore, I want fall in to a heap and give up, but the other part of me wants to keep on trucking on - as all women do! But, I finally have a date for surgery, and I feel like I've won the lottery! It's not until the end of June, but after years of waiting and over 2 years of prostap, I am hopeful the end is in sight!! I know it's hard to stay positive (especially 2 days into an awful flare up) but I am continuing to smile, albeit through gritted teeth!

Flare ups aren’t fun.

Remember: rest, rest, rest after surgery. I’ve enjoyed wordscapes & two dots on my ipad whilst recovering.

Thank you so much definitely will be resting and listening to my body. My last op I think I pushed too quickly. This time I'm having a hysterectomy, but hoping to recover in the sunshine in the garden (fingers crossed!)

Take as long as you can to fully recover. I took 6 weeks off for a lap. It was snowing on the day of my op & I was mostly stuck indoors but I’m still glad I took the full 6 weeks off. I needed it. xx
