Prostap SR

As part of the preparations for an IVF cycle with donor eggs, my IVF clinic which is based abroad have prescribed Prestap SR DCS 3.75mg powder and sovent. I'm struggling to find where I can have it administered as I need to have the shot done in less than two weeks time.

I had a Prostap injection administered in September last year (a one-off) as part of the preparations for a fresh embryo transfer with donor eggs (about 6 weeks prior to the embryo transfer in order to synchronize my cycle with the donor's).

Hi I'm on my 2nd injection of prostap. 1st was 1 month 2nd for 3months and that was about a month ago. I've had less pain but still pain lower pelvis, groin and still pain going to loo.both ways. Did anyone else have injection and did it help with Adenomyosis?

Recently been told I need to take the prostap injection as I have multiple fibroids, one big one growing 10cm currently. I am really worried about side effects, I have high cholesterol I have high blood pressure. I don't need any more to make things worse.

I’m happy to stay on the Prostap injections but trying to be logical for the future.

I’m still waiting for my prescription (5 weeks) hoping it’ll be more effective than the prostap injections. I want to be a “normal” 27 year old now.

Hi Does anyone else suffer with body pains especially in my back on the prostap injections. It’s particularly worse when in bed, can be lower back or at the top of my back and neck. Having said that it can be anywhere my body constantly feels like I’ve done a marathon somewhere is always aching!

but gone again now. dont want to waste a preg test as have read implantation bleeding only lasts 1-2 days. but why is it taking so long to arrive, is it the prostap?

I’ve been diagnosed with fibroids and I had my first prostap injection at hospital and the bleeding stopped now I had my second prostap injection along with tibolone after a few days I started to bleed again and it’s getting heavier with blood clots again.

I was put on monthly Prostap injections & Tibolone while waiting for surgery. I also have a mirena coil in already. I absolutely hate being on Prostap 😡 so I'm constantly trying to decide if I should stop them. I had my 4th last week.

Since then endometriosis has returned and I have been prescribed Prostap injections. I had my first injection 2-3 weeks ago and showed symptoms within the first 72 hours but since then they have slowed down.

hi all I am on prostap and it finishes in may I have had my Mirina coil removed today but I am reading online that I can get pregnant off the prostap and that it can be dangerous.. ??? Is this true or is google just scaring me as usual 🫣 Any replies would be appreciated thanks xx 😙

I have been down regulating since June 2024 and my FET keeps getting delayed due to various findings and my fertility doctor keeps lengthening the time on down regulation with prostap so I have technically been in menapause since June 2024 and I am going crazy, i hate it so much.

I had my injection for Prostap three weeks ago, I’ve noticed my skin in general is a bit drier than usual and a bit itchy (I have very sensitive skin anyway) - does anyone know when the injection tends to start wearing off? Or if there’s a way to reverse it?
