Anyone else have these strange symptoms?

Hi. To cut a long story short iv been having loads of symptoms for the last 2.5yrs a main one being gastro issues. I have constant abdominal/lower back/pelvic pain. I also get severe nausea and fatigue after eating. Iv had colonoscopy, endoscopy, small bowel capsule and nothing showed!!Losing the will to live 😭

I'm waiting for a laparoscopy which I'll be getting in the next couple of months.

Does anyone else have these symptoms?

Along with this is also get really bad cystic acne, ridiculously oily skin, dry eyes, dry mouth, mouth ulcers, problems with my ears, muscle and joint pain, red lumpy and itchy scalp.

Could this all be to do with endometriosis?

Sorry for the rant I'm just so frustrated and just want validation for how I'm feeling 😫

Hi, the gastro issues are very similar to me in my late 30s which is why (like you) they checked all of that and it came to nothing. I wasn't diagnosed until 50. In my 40s my back was agony because it was rectovaginal endometriosis which affects your bowel and pulls your pelvis. I think the dry eyes, tinnitus and mouth ulcers could be peri menopause (i had all of these symptoms). Did they rule out PCOS? In short, yes to all of it as it sounds very much like a similar journey to me. I'd ask for an MRI (they aren't always able to detect endo but if it's interpreted by someone who knows what to look for you can get answers). The other alternative is a lap. Hope that helps. I'd strongly recommend cutting out dairy for a few weeks and seeing if it improves. (Particularly if you suffered with tonsillitis as a child). Xxx

Thankyou for your reply. Yes my lower back and pelvis are agony most of the time. And my legs. It's just so horrible feeling like this and not getting answers. Iv had a pre op for my laparoscopy so hoping I get it in the next few weeks. Xx

It's OK I don't mind. That's why this is such a good thing to be apart of. Sometimes it's nice to know others are going through the same and your not alone. I still get tonsillitis as an adult so that is quite interesting. X

Yes I was shocked to read this as I suffered as a child and a young adult. It's in Lara Briden's book. Many of us with endometriosis cannot tolerate the A1 Enzyme in milk and it leads to all kinds of things. I didn't believe it but then i tried it and bought A2 milk (jersey cows) and the difference has been amazing. I feelba lot better - you can still have cheese but different cheese. Google Lara Briden and look at her website or read her excellent book. Her newest one is about losing weight and it's excellent. Lots of people say she's not a doctor but she has run a very successful menopause clinic for over 25 years and follows the advice of some of the key doctors for menopause. I wish I'd found her earlier. I don't think I'd have needed a hysterectomy! I would've started with progesterone only in menopause x good luck x

I have constant daily chronic pelvic pain and have done since October 2022. Iv had 2 laps in that time, first with a normal gynae and 2nd was with a specialist, 1st lap negative 2nd lap it was found. I also used to have severe sickness and hardly kept food in i think this was due to uterus and bowel adhesion which was separated during 2nd lap and has calmed massively now. I get cystic acne before and during menstruation and constipation during but not the other symptoms. Are you under a specialist?

Thankyou for your reply. Yes! I have chronic pelvic and back pain. Sometimes when I sneeze in bed I get a pulling sensation where my ovaries are. The constant nausea and fatigue are the worst. Yes I'm under gynaecology and I'm hoping to get a lap in the next few weeks as iv had my pre op. Really praying something is found and they can help me. It's horrendous feeling like this day in day out. Xx

Hello, My first symptom was constant nausea when I was 20 and they did a laparoscopy and found endometriosis. I also get bowel issues and I have had it on my bowel and bladder. I've also always suffered with acne and oily skin and they said that was down to also finding polycystic ovaries. Hopefully you will get your laparoscopy soon. x

Thankyou for your reply. Yes the constant nausea is the worst. I don't feel like eating at all sometimes but know that I have to. That's interesting you say that about polycystic ovaries. I literally have the skin of a teenager. The oil is just awful. I don't wear makeup most of the time because it just comes off. My bowels are awful and I do get bladder urgency and sometimes struggle to get my wee out. I'm hoping I get my lap in the next few weeks 🤞 xx
