I'm on day 9 of my period and I'm still bleeding red like I've just started.
My period usually lasted 7 days before where I used to bleed for 4 days then it would taper off until i was clear on day 7.
For the last 2 cycles, I've continued to bleed red blood for almost 10/11 days. I don't get the usual brown blood in the end ether. It just stops eventually.
And sometimes it stops and just when I think I've finished, I start bleeding red again.
Does anyone have this? How do you deal with it?
I was already low in iron before this started and I don't want to be dealing with Iron tablets for the rest of my life. If if helps I'm 46.
Please help.
Thanks xx

Hello! I have this - bleed from anything up to 14 days. I have adenomyosis and I'm going through perimenopause.....I'm 44. Also on iron as i have low ferritin. Makes you feel rotten doesn't it.Unusual (for you) bleeding patterns should always be checked out though. Xx
Oh I've gotten that enough times!. But I'm persistent. They have no choice but to deal with me.π€£π€£ It's not all in my head and they can't keep using that card.
Thank you so much. You're right. I should check out other deficiencies. Also yes, stress is a large factor in my life as I'm having to care for my elderly mother 24/7 on top of kids housework, etc. π΅βπ«
Thanks for the tips. I love bananas so I'll try them with a high fibre breakfast.
I'm too knackered to exercise. I run around after everyone all day anyway! I hope it counts. Lol
