Help!

I got a lap in September 2019 which confirmed endo on my ovaries, pelvic side walls and both sides of my bowel with some lesions. My surgeon excised most of the endo, except for some on my left ovary which she burned using diathermy. I also got the mirena put in. After surgery, I had no pain and I was feeling amazing because I wasn't getting my periods anymore.

However, in January I remember feeling this horrible stomach cramping, diarrhea and sudden tailbone pain? A few weeks after I got my first period, and then I kept getting them every month for 8-9 days. The periods caused horrible pain, and they were extremely heavy with clots even though I have the mirena coil in? Then I went on an OCP, which caused me more pain because my body hates estrogen. I puffed up everywhere, had to get checked for blood clots in my legs and I looked 3 months pregnant. Whenever I have an OCP everything seems worse.

Anyway, now I'm on provera. I haven't gotten my period yet. However, I am in horrible pain everyday - tailbone pain, diarrhea, horrible bloating, stabbing pain in my ovaries and stomach. I got MRIs, ultrasounds (not internal), everything and nothing is showing anything. However, my left side of my stomach is all swollen and puffy.

I went to my surgeon crying in pain and really upset because I feel like I'm crazy? I've been to so many doctors now who are disregarding my pain and saying that it's all in my head. I'm getting another lap done in about 1 month. I have pain everyday and I'm feeling so sick. Do you think my endo could be back? Could it be due to the diathermy or the estrogen?

I'm second guessing my pain at the moment and getting the surgery because my doctor keeps telling me there is no way it could be back. However, she told me that before my last surgery & there was endo everywhere! Sorry for my rant, I am feeling really lost, alone and confused.

Well I had mine December and had to start zoladex to put me in a menopause as my endo pain was still there and these last two months have been hurrendous and I dont have periods. I think a lot of mine is down to adhesions personally, I dont think your crazy you should go with what you body is telling you. I'd get an appointment write it all down what you eaten, a pain score etc I'm awaiting a hysterectomy and that's not a cure endo can come back after that too as I am sure many have experienced so your not alone! Nor going crazy! X
