Period after a laparoscopy?

Had regular periods until my laparoscopy in may since then had no period however getting serve cramps at the time I should be having my period.

It’s been nearly 5 months now and don’t understand why I’m still getting period pains but no period! Was told my procedure went well and everything looked fine (ovaries,tubes etc.)

I have a blood test this week to check my hormone levels. Anyone else had this or similar

Same here. I had my lap in June and got my periods in July. But after that, I didn't get my period. Its been 2 months. I also get period pain. I was given Decapeptyl injection post lap, so was thinking maybe it's because of it. My obgyn told me to wait one more month and then do some tests like tvs.

I am also losing a lot of scalp hair after the surgery. Don't know what's up with my hormones :/

Did they say why your getting pains and no period ? Had bloods today so will let you know what they say.

Yes all come back normal and no further action required! So still none of the wiser as to why no period

I finally got my period today! And the flow is super heavy!

That’s great news ( well kind of 😂) hope this means your back to regular periods.

Today’s my first painful day of my (period none period) getting all the pains and cramps but no release 😩my doctors have referred me back to my gynae at the hospital but have to wait until January for an appointment
