My excision surgery was 9 January and my period hasn't stopped since then (it's been almost 3 months). I have period cramps every day despite being on birth control, and the bleeding has been getting heavier lately. I'm cramping 24/7 and everything hurts. I've been for blood tests and check ups a month ago and everything seemed 'normal' apart from the bleeding.
When I use the toilet my urine is deep red from the blood. Any advice?

You need to go back to the GP, maybe a different one than before and maybe a female. Whilst the tests might be normal, what you are experiencing is not. Check what pain relief you are on (go to post I made on medication which may help) say that this is affecting your mental health, your ability to sleep, your activities of daily living. Tell them what your expectations are which is not to leave without any plan in place. 1) pain relief with a review in 4 wks 2) a suggestion check and explanation of what tests they have done and what is normal.
3) acknowledge meant that this is a long term condition. Take an endo leaflet if necessary. Keep using the words disabling long term condition. Because it is.
Sorry- but I can’t bear to think of patients being fobbed off. Keep going back until you get what you need from them and the least of that is care. !
Poor you. Well I would have thought that he/she would’ve been more helpful than that. If the bleeding isn’t normal then what is your excision specialist going to do about it then? X
If you have been bleeding that long and GP won’t listen take yourself to a&e they will have to listen then. It’s not normal. I have spotted for a month before but not full on bleeding for longer than a week x
i had a huge cramp and had a big blood clot come out in the bathroom half an hour ago, now I'm getting sharp pains in my side. Waiting it out at work and then I'll go to the doctors after work
