I'm well aware everyone is different, but I was suggested it yesterday by a consultant, as I have tried the Mirena (didn't work out for me) and he is saying the dose of my pill is not high enough to suppress the pain, so a higher dose combined pill is an option too. Thanks!

Thoughts on Zoladex please?
Im currently on zoladex for the second time. My pain completely goes on the zoladex but everyone is different. The coil did nothing for me either. May be worth further discussion with your doctor??
Thank you for your reply! The coil really messed things up for me, it was awful. It was fine for the first two/three months, then I starting cramping, had really bad mood swings and my skin broke out so much that I've just finished a 6 month prescription of Accutane! Ive been trying to get an appointment with my doctor for a few days now, no luck yet - must be a busy time! X
I wish I'd known before taking zoladex that it's not a long-term solution. You are unable to be on it for too long. I would definitely do my research on zoladex. I didn't like the side effects and felt it didn't change anything for me.
I wish I'd had excision surgery, physio and followed a natural anti inflammatory route much earlier in my journey. I read a book by Henrietta Norton and have followed her advice.
Like you say everyone is different. Good luck
Thanks for your reply! Yes, it's so difficult to find something that works for you. I feel like the consultant was very knowledgeable but I just felt like I didn't want to go down the Zoladex route... He suggested that instead of another lap. It's just frustrating because that's what I wanted in the first place!
Thank you
Have you had your Endometriosis excised? ( Cut away by a specialist) rather than laser?
If you want a laparoscopy, I'd push for that. If you have good growns for wanted one at this stage ( I don't know your journey). You can always request a second opinion.
Hi i have stage 4 endometriosis, I’m on Zoladex for the lead up to my next operation so it stops spreading. I have been on Zoladex for 3 weeks so far but i take HRT too. I haven’t had any side effects other than mild hot flushes, bleeding, damaged nails and really bad spotty oily skin on my face. I was really worried about taking zoladex due to what everyone says about it but it actually hasn’t been that bad. I hope this helps x
It took a few injections for it to kick in then it stopped my pain.
I was on it 18 months, towards the end the pain started to return a wk or so before my next injection.
Everybody is very different with regards to side effects but I suffered really bad hot sweats even with treatment, bad mood swings constantly and 2 stone weight gain.
I would say it’s definitely worth a try x
