Got diagnosed with Endometriosis last year. Pain has returned with a vengeance. i've tried the pill - hormones were completely out of control. I am now on the Depo injection, however still having bleeding and the pain is worse than ever. My gyno has now given me three options to choose from. All three are rubbish.
One of which is Zoladex. Has anyone had this? Did it work? Are the side effects as bad as it suggests on the NHS website?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated. xx

Hi Becky. I have had endometriosis for some time. I had an operation and partial ovary removal however the pain returned. I was put on provera tablets and all they did was make to bleed for the four months I took them and the pain was as bad as ever. My consultant then said to try zoladex and I was very wary given what had Happened with the provera. During the first month I was bleeding quite heavily and had a lot of pain. I wanted to give up with it but my doctor said to at least try another month. I am now due my next implant next week and I am glad to say that I am glad I stuck with it. I have had very little pain this month although I am having some urine problems. Overall I am glad I stuck with it a bit longer x hope this helps a little
That's so good to hear... I'm on day 4 and so far apart from bleeding I'm fine but he has warned me! How far into your first one did the side effects hit you?
It was 2 weeks after the first implant that I started bleeding heavily and it lasted for 2 weeks. I have had no bleeding this month and very little pain although I have poor sleep due to hot flushes but that is so much better than the pain x
Hi Becky, my gynaecologist recommended the Novasure treatment for me. Had it a year ago, best thing I ever did. Have they mentioned this to you? All the best.x
