Hello everyone!
I hope everyone is doing well!!!
I had my first lap and hysteroscopy on the 27th June after many years of going to the GP with extreme pain and heavy bleeding. They kept saying that I'm too young (I'm 20 now) to have endo, even though my older sister and my mum had it. But that's not the point...
My main point is that I haven't stopped bleeding since my surgery! They did manage to find deep endo and said that they only managed to clear some of it? I don't really know too much info ( it's more like I know nothing) . It's going to be 6 weeks on Friday and my follow up is still a couple weeks away ( I don't have an appointment yet but it should be after 8 weeks of my lap). I am in pain everyday and do bleed quite a lot, like I would be on a 'normal' period non-stop! (not the period I used to have).
My GP sent me to the emergency dep. at the hospital, where I had my lap + hysteroscopy , however I was not so succesful. I waited at least 8 hours to be seen, then when I finally got seen by a doctor... she was so rude to me. She kept laughing and started of saying " so I read that there was no complications during surgery, so why excatly are you here?" while making weird faces at me. At the end she just sent me away like I just wasted her time! I was too tired to fight back at the end and just went home crying. The nurses were really nice though, which was better than nothing! They didn't understand why the doctor sent me away as well, but all they could tell me to do is just to go back to the GP.
Did anyone experience bleeding for this long and pain everyday?
I just don't know what else I can do... because I'll be starting my final year at university and I can't afford to not be able to attend. It is affecting me physically and mentally.
Thank you for reading my long post!!
