Hi lovely.

Sorry that you are in pain, when you say behind the womb was thay the pouch of douglas.

You will be in quite a bit of pain from the operation I would expect that is what you are feeling, you need to give yourself time to recover.

Are you taking pain relief at regular intervals? What are you taking for the pain xx

Hi I am not sure dr said it was behind my womb at the right hand side? I have 3 cuts this time so knew it was a bigger op than the first time. I can't take codeine but hosp have have me paracetamol ibuprofen and dihydrocodeine (which I can't take) he's said I would be fine but I am terrified incase I take a turn like the last time so been taking paracetamol and ibuprofen but it's not even taking as much as the edge off it :( xxx

I imagine from what you are describing is pain from your operation, especially if you have bigger incisions.

I would call your Dr and see what else they can give you that is stronger than paracetamol and ibuprofen, I wouldn't have coped after my laparoscopy I was in significant pain xx

Think if i will try cope tonight and if it's still as bad tomorrow I will call out of hours my labour was easier than the way I am feeling right now! Can't walk or move it's so painful and feel all shaky and light headed think that's due to finding it hard to breath as it's painful lol. Thanks so much for all ur advice xxx

Yes I think thats wise hun, I hope it improves.

I would day I was in more pain than when I had any of my 3 kids, I think it's the cutting of the stomach muscles that's what mine felt like anyway.

I hope you feel better soon xx

Hi hun, i had 3 cuts on Tuesday and yesterday I was in agony also, all my muscles were sore, my incisions were sore, it was worse when i needed a wee, i was dizzy and breathless too. Today is better but still sore. Try lying down on your back with a pillow under your knees, that helped me to be a bit more comfortable xx

I got mine done the other day and feel the same. I got 50mg of diclofenac and parocetimol. Also I have tramadol for when needed. I think the trick is to take stuff regularly the first week as it's less stress on your body and your most probably going to need it. You can call the ward you were in and ask for a prescription. Out of hours wont give you more than cocodimol without a hospital trip. In my experience living in Fife. May be different where you live.

Put your feel up to, stay in bed. Lots of fluid should make it easier to pee. I was told my bladder will be bruised for a few days and it seems better today.

Get well soon xx

call out of hours and say you need stronger pain killers. That's terrible they left you with pain killers that aren't really substantial enough. You can purchase diclofenac in boots but a lower dose.
